    I too have bought a cosmic yellow and done 400 miles. I agree with everything you say here and think this is a splendid review. The ONLY moan I have about this bike is the lack of manual. Triumph expect you to f**k about in your garage on your smart phone or print off a 200 plus page book. Given the price I paid for the bike and extras that really annoys me. You don't even have an option to buy a nice manual; which would be acceptable to me. That aside I absolutely love everything about my banana triple.

    It's a great club to be in! 😎😁 And thanks for watching. Yeah, couple of other little things too, dash takes ages to start up but the bike starts regardless of what you can see, the joystick on the bar doesn't have much resistance to it and it's really hard to feel through winter gloves what it's doing and would also rather have had a slightly bigger fuel tank. Having said that, 150 miles is easily achievable as it is. In honesty, not 100% happy with the bar end mirrors as they kind of push / force your wrists to a certain angle.. But these are very minor niggles and don't detract from an amazing package!

    Thank you so much for this review. Waiting for my Cosmic Yellow unit to arrive at the dealer as well. I was always worried how the Supercorsas would do in the wet and you have just addressed that. Much appreciated.

    Thanks for the comments and for watching! Yeah, they're ultimately no rain tyre, but at sensible speeds and steady riding, taking it easy, they're definitely better than I thought they would be! No need to rush out and change them straight away anyway. 👍😁😎.

    Got my silver ice, two weeks ago and absolutely love it. What a phenomenal bike. I rode the 2020 model last year over a weekend and was instantly sold. I'm just happy that I didn't pull the trigger back than so I could get the new version this year. ;-) The only issue I have, is with the connectivity kit I ordered with the bike. It looks like my 4 year old iPhone is too old and not compatible with it.

    ah that’s great! Yeah, it’s one hell of a package! Interesting to hear on the connectivity kit as i must admit,i was quite tempted by that too. just knew that for the riding i do i def wouldn’t need cruise control and have another bike for winter use. Shame on the phone though…can’t you update your phone software?

    @@twistandgo3414 Well, turns out it is not an issue with my phone. The connectivity kit seems to be incompatible with my Cardo Freecom 4+. And specifically this one Cardo model. Everything works but the Music Audio. I can use the phone, hear navigation instructions but can't listen to any other audio. Neither the App nor Triumph-Support have any solution or even acknowledge the problem. Most other headset seem to work fine, though. But I don't have access to any. So I can't say for certain.

    Hi, I watched your first review. I had a 2021 765 I traded it for a Tiger 900 commuter. I love the Tiger and still have it but regret selling the street. My 2021 was in silver ice but then I took my Tiger for its 6K service and saw the cosmic yellow and was sold again...I'm loving it. I have the screen fitted like yours and the air is clean. The new gearing make it feel like it's on the edge of boiling all the time. The brakes are amazing. It just make you want to keep taking it out!!!

    I got the RS in cosmic yellow and absolutely love it, I had the 2020 model and can't believe the massive step forward the 2023 bike is, the shorter gearing has boosted acceleration and made it more peppy right through the rev range but another really pleasant surprise is that no matter what gear you're in you just take off and unlike the previous model it's virtually impossible to bog down. plus it's now such a lovely thing to look at. incidentally I agree with you about the Supercorsa V3s being great tyres but as I ride all year I think I'm going to change to Diablo rosso 4s for the winter.

    @@twistandgo3414 Just a question about the CarbonFBR hugger, is it hugger and chainguard or just the hugger? as it looks ace and I want to protect the Ohlins shock. re the handling I couldn't agree more with you, I've had 31 bikes since I started riding in 1975 and the two that always stuck out as the best handling were my Aprilia RS250 and my 2015 GSX-R750 but every time I ride this RS I think how can a bike that's not a purpose built sports bike handle so well.

    @@yonniboy1 yeah, it's got the chain guard included! I'll do a separate short video on the hugger, it's great quality! Likewise, had loads of bikes over the years, 3 x Gsxr1000's now, K4, K6 & the Gsxr-r, 2 x gsxr 750's, rsv mille, s1000r, Gsxs1000F, couple of Speed triples to name but a few! Nice vlog - Which of the accessories is good value and definitely worth having? Who is the tail tidy by and does the fly screen make much difference or is it more a cosmetic item?

  • @twistandgo3414

    @twistandgo3414

    Жыл бұрын

    Well... Value wise I think the inspiration pack is worth it for the improved look of the brake reservoirs. The guards on the swing arm, I'm not sure my boots really touch so can't really comment on those. Engine sliders and case covers i hopefully never need to test, but must be worth having. I think the screen and visor is personal opinion and preference but I like it and would say at higher speed it does keep some of the turbulence at bay. And I'm 6ft 4. The inspiration pack comes with the tail tidy but if you didn't go for that as a package I wouldn't recommend buying the triumph tail tidy as its nothing to write home about and the money would be better spent on an evotech tail tidy. Hope that helps and thanks for watching.
