Timely, given the discussion that’s been taking place over at the forum about these two skis. 😎. I had the first generation of the Experience in an 80. Exactly as described.

Which length would you recommend? I am 178 cm ( 5'10), 68 kg, advanced and aggressive skier, but not sure to go for the 167 cm or the 176 cm. I currently own the Experience 88 HD with a length of 180 which I really like. I think it's the 2016/2017 model. I'm reading about the 86 Ti being much stiffer than the 88 so would the 167 cm be ok? It feels like it might be too short for my experience level?

    176 would be my recommendation.

Experienced beginner moving towards intermediate here. 6’ 185lbs. Mainly chasing my kids down greens and some blues. Looking for something that will work well for me now, but that I can grow with too (I’m sure it will be needed as the kids get older and want to hit more slopes). I’m eyeing the Experience 80, but am unsure of length between the 166cm and the 174cm. Any thoughts? Thanks!

174, at least, and the Experience will be a great ski for what you are looking for.

Is there any difference between the women and unisex/men model besides the graphic and a potential lighter (system) binding? I'm looking into the 82 basalt for my girlfriend and have found a great offer on the 160 unisex. (she's 168 intermediate good allrounder)

"Was" is the key word. In the previous generation, there was one. If you are looking in that range, take a look at the Sender 94Ti.

I am right between sizes on this ski otherwise I would own the 86 ti.

That few CM in length shouldn’t keep you from considering a ski. The characteristics of any given ski makes these small differences in length somewhat insignificant. See if you can demo the ski you like.

What the heck is the difference between the 82 vs 86? Why didn't you cover that? Why would I choose 82 vs 86? Come on guys cover the basics. This was a waste of my time.

The difference? 4mm ;) Seriously, the 82 is a little quicker edge to edge but IMHO, the 4 mm separation isn't quite enough, I would have perferred 6mm (80/86 or 82/88) or even 8mm (80/88).
