You can buy another MC2 manual once your financial permit, nothing wrong if you bought the MC2 auto as there's several equipment that were absent between Standard MT and Standard AT such as 2 charging pot at the back, front interior light and boot light. Also, safety features like ESC, Traction Control and Hill Start Assist available in all Saga auto variant can't retrofit outside.

Bruh, i was working with Proton before. I think exactly as you did. Very recommended to go Perodua for AT, but Proton still have the upper hand on MT. As one of ex-Proton , I myself still choosing Saga MT as the top of the wishlist. Lack of interior features but, no doubt it doesnt lost the classic touch needed on handling and driving.

Keep up the good work. I used to drive manual kenari for 14 years before change to Myvi lagi best 1.5 auto. Cannot tahan the traffic at Penang already. Still miss the manual change gear feels

Proton的操控是真的好 我有一輛Arena 操控一流

之前原本也是要买一台手牙的Saga的可惜等了接近一年车都出不到给最后买了自动牙。排除加速这方面，脚轻些(110km/h+-)这台车一桶油RM50可以跑350-400km算很不错了。跟奔驰C系一桶RM100+-跑700-800km大同小异。别拿Bezza来比较确实是台无可挑剔的好车。

不過新的MC2的gearbox換成了中國之舟gearbox 不懂cluch pump是不是在外面 外面的話會比較耐.

你是也是住新山哦😲 我是住Mount Austin一代的 我也经常飞下Kota Tinggi的这条路跑跑下😂 晚上就危险一点 没有路灯又暗 路又很湾下 以前很多车祸就是在那个湾Buang Savvy1.2L真的好驾很多 我之前驾过 手牙的真的一流 只是输在空间很小 驾起来因为没有屁股 真的操控很太多 比Axia好10条街 我现在也是Axia 2017车主 Savvy是整个车身很稳 过路不平 不会很像车架要散掉这样 Axia会😂 Savvy Top Speed 160这样都是感觉车超定重心很低因为车也很矮 Axia Top Speed 150 车身就会很浮 可能因为比例关系车顶高 里面就高一点 但是就 不定 扫Corner 那些就输Savvy 感觉好像要翻这样😂 不过已经算ok了 毕竟只是小车 买菜车😅 。

I think the problem you have with starting the car is a common saga issue from the 2016 VVT onwards. For the Saga VVT it was the radio having parasitic power draw, eventually draining the battery completely. From what i can tell, charging the battery does make it less of an issue but definitely annoying. Lets meet up if i ever go to JB

for the cvt / saga vvt 2016 i would say it actually quite good BUT depend on driver and how brave you are. i drive it so i know under 100kmh sure no power but after it got to 120 then u feel it. some people just hate it rev so hard but for me i dont give a sh!t hahahaha broke down repair then lenjan like there is no tomorrow haha BUT cvt is the mess hahah everytime need to find good shop that willing to service it haiyaa quite memenatkan

Nice video! From the way you operate and shift the gear shifter, I can see it is a much shorter throw and nicer shifter than earlier Proton model! I've tried the earlier Iriz 1.3 manual, the shifter feels rubbery, disappointed, didn't buy that. And yeah, the 2008 Saga manual shifter is terrible, very long throw and vague shift gate.

The Saga VVT and MC1 don't differ much from the BLM; the Iriz is better, but the MC2 is astonishing. However, all of them are still better than Perodua's offerings

Bro. Many thanks on the DRL response. Just got my manual today am. Anyway, I want to maintain my rim cover, but also want to spray it matte black. Problem is, the cover is very tight. Did you face any issues taking off yours, and would it be firm enough to put back on? I'm worried that after taking it off, paint it, and put it back on, it'll fly off the steel rim. Need your advice, please... Btw, I'm convinced by your video to get manual!🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Yes, the cover is very tight and it is very tricky to take it off, just pull it hard with a towel. I did not put it back but I think it will still works well after you removed it as I did not see any damage made

确实，这一点我忘记提起了。不过门把手有办法可以自己装。至于油耗只能说有得必有失。总会有一些不及对手的地方。好在Malaysia油价不是很贵

你现在的油耗高是因为你的引擎还没fully run in, once fully run in你的油耗会变得正常一点的😊

saga new 4AT 很有力啊，因为跑山路可以知道比 Bezza 有力

Cause I am torn between picking a second hand elantra manual or a New Saga Manual. Of course it depends on the condition of the 2nd car. But is Elantra good to drive and good buy in terms of value?

In my opinion, it really depends on what you want from the car. I have never driven a elantra manual but I think elantra manual is a really good bargain that you can get a c segment sedan with 6 speed manual just under 20k. However, elantra manual are very rare and you might need to take note about its maintenance cost, it would not be as cheap as its value. If I am going for a second hand manual c segment sedan, I would take Proton Preve or Proton Inspira which were well-known for their ride&handling. At the end of the day, I would only take elantra If I often travel for long distance due to its 6 speed transmission, 5 speed manual can be really noisy and annoying when you are going fast. There are no other c segment sedan with 6 speed manual under 20k. While I only suggest you to go for Saga if you prefer a new car and you want to keep it for really long time or even keep it for your children so they still can drive a manual after the manual cars are gone in the market, just like me.

@@l.k.y.6929 I think of inspira also. But scared of the maintenance costs. And heard of the clutch master/slave cylinder issues, i just don't know how much of a cost of repairing. I just want to buy a car that drive stick. Haha, I am fine with A segment or C segment. As long fun to drive and financially sound. I will go test drive on inspira, as for Elantra, dealer is a bit far for me to go over and test drive it. Saga, no manual available for test drive. I more prone to taking new car of Saga as it is worry free and I am the type tend to keep car to myself and never think of selling one.

@@cannaheng7879 I do look for the Inspira clutch pump issue solution previously, there is a permanent fix that somehow replace it with the Wira things, it costs around 3-4k with labour fee. After I read your reply, I think we have the same thought about getting the new car which I think the Saga is suitable for you. The Inspira definitely has more power, better handling and more aftermarket modification parts available, but the Saga just suits me better, it has everything I need and nothing I don't. I like how the car is so "kosong", the more kosong the car is. The less it costs for a long run. My conclusion is you should get a new&low-spec car if you made the decision to keep it for a really long time. These low-spec cars are basically bulletproof. Nowadays, people always look for the car with the best specifications available in the market, they want adas, more airbags, and more ambient lights, but they will soon be bored and change to a new car again and again. With these "kosong" cars however, I will never be bored, because I bought it for the manual transmission pure driving joy which you don't find in any modern cheap&new car anymore, not the features they keep on updating. No matter what features were added to any new budget car later on, I know there will never be any more manual transmission. So, I chose the Saga manual as my new car. She is irreplaceable and I will always love her.

机械层面上应该差不多，只是mc2换成中国牙箱而已。主要差距还是外观。我觉得价钱差距不大的话直接拿mc2比较好，不止年份比较新，换挡手感也好很多

Hi. U ask question about exhaust 4-2-1. Ohh..now i know u are newbie about car.. Good. Take care ur car carefully. Ori exhaust come with Catalizer converter (inside engine bay) 4-2-1 exhaust system, u can search yTube about that. How to change n performance between ori n 421. Better u just use stok ori standrd la.. Lagi jimat minyak. 421 cost u more minyak but less mileage compare stok exhaust

@@l.k.y.6929 logic is. All exhaust is 4-1 (combine welled together before catalyc coverter) But catalyc chamber have tiny hole as honeycom. Exhaust gas can flow freely. But for perfomnce car, u need all that gasses out fast.. That y, 421/41 extractor make diffrent perfomnce. Cost from engine to exhaust tip =rm1500 (2010 price) Nowdays, maybe +- 2000

There are still manual car between 70k-100k. Such as the pick-up trucks, and also recon cars like Suzuki Swift Sport, Civic Hatchback, Corolla Sport at slightly higher price

Axia 和市面上其他hatchback suv mpv等，如果没有power boot的话都是要从外面手动开的😂😂😂 只有sedan车款会有一个拉杆可以从里面打开😂😂😂 你去看myvi hrv等里面一样都是没有拉杆的，不是减配😂

学到新知识了😅其实我的重点应该要放在center lock。因为后面boot如果lock着一定要用锁匙去后面开，如果是乘客的行李在后面就需要司机熄火去后面开。这才是麻烦的地方。有center lock的车就没有这个问题。

我10l/100km的数据是70% city+ 30% highway。我还没有试过fully highway drive，目前最省油的记录是9l/100km。fully city drive最吃油的记录是12l/100km

My last fuel consumption recorded was 8.44l/100km, combined with around 30% of highway drive, 70% of city drive, around 20 minutes of idling. Averaging 11.84km/liter, the fuel consumption does effect a lot between highway drive & city drive
