but why? just make a fast moped or motorcycle. seems like a waste of time . like one wheel then euc came along and there no point to a one wheel. i feel the same about the scooters.

@@heyby8764 I have a 43 mph Nami Burn E scooter - I never ride it that fast because it's simply not safe. And for perspective? I was a hardcore knee dragging canyon racer for 30 years and have done over 170mph on a motorcycle more than a few times....

​@@heyby8764 I took delivery of my first electric scooter 7 weeks ago and I have never looked back. It is so easy to just hop on an electric scooter and get going. Everybody wants to ride it and people are asking for tips on what to look for should they decide to buy one. Mopeds and motorcycles are gas powered and noisy. Even if you are refering to electric versions of either of those vehicles, they still have a lot more mass/bulk than an electric scooter. I go shopping, visit friends, go to the neighborhood pool and tennis courts and can get it all done on a tiny foldable electric scooter. I used to do all of this in my gas powered SUV and now it sits idly for all of these destinations. Electric scooters are fulfilling the paradigm shift that Dean Kamen, inventor of the Segway, predicted would happen. We don't need the mass of 4000 lb vehicles when a 70 lb scooter will do so much of it. Hope this helps. :-)

Just interested to know, what the limits are of the drivetrain? If you keep upping the power surely you will need some sort of gearbox to go any faster, else your limit is traction As a biker I can tell you you'll get buffeting at 100mph + and have you a steering damper? Love these mad scooters

it's beautiful looking and I like how it comes with a display front and center. I really like my Dark Knight standing scooter, but not having it's own display takes a little away from being world class. The Brembo brakes is what should be used on scooters with this kind of speed. Nutt brakes are not at that level. I have Brembo on my sports car, and there is nothing like them. Also having both batteries in the base of the unit, is perfect for center of gravity and looks amazing.

Brembo is overkill... you just need good motorcycle breaks. They put Brembo on them i see... no wonder it adds to the expensive price a bunch.

WEPED outdid themselves with this Sonic. It has to be the ultimate scooter. It's absolutely gorgeous the way it looks. The WEPED guys are geniuses when it comes to design. I'll bet that thing rides like a dream. I'No doubt iit costs about $15,000, but I'm sure it will be worth it. It's more than just a scooter and more like a stand-up motorcycle. Whatever, it's unique and awesome. Great respect to the WEPED team.

En France les trotinettes à louer vont devenir interdites et la vitesse 25km/h à 15km/h max selon zones. Par contre les cyclistes qui klaxonnent en roulant à 40km/h minimum rigolent bien

I want to move to korea and work with you guys so we can build together even more monsterous Electric scooters. what a beauty it is. May I advise something with my 4 screws in left talus bone, and 4 fractured ribs just last year experience? These scooters, they handle better with a seat. So rider sitting is better. standing, does more damage when you fall and or hit :) stay safe and keep the rubber side down

At the very bottom they actually have 2 pics of a model with a built-in seat !!! More My style. It's alot "lower-slung" and if it had a faring or wind-screen would be way more aerodynamic. I had an accident on a Dualtron 3 scooter (Power: 1600W (peak power - 3600W). My head was smashed, my eye socket was broken. Hands and feet are stripped to the bone. I was in a terrible state and hardly walked. I was in the hospital for 3 weeks. Now for me, a scooter is everything up to 350 watts, everything more is my own death on wheels.
