DVR (Digital Video Recorder) in is for connecting a dashcam if I’m not mistaken.

MG ZS Alpha owner here. I've own the vehicle for 7 months now and so far no complaints. The vehicle does what is supposed to do, bring you from point A to point B safe and comfortably. NVH is pretty good compared to my previous vehicle, Hyundai Accent. I guess my only nitpick is the sunshade that they've used for the panoramic sunroof, which is just a mesh compared to other competitors which is a solid material that completely blocks the heat.

Always loved the styling on the MGs. But only one thing stopping me from getting one, the local distributor, Covenant Car Company. Hopefully SAIC will improve on the overall service of the brand when it takes over.

While there is no ZS EV, you may look at the Marvel.

odd that they added a power tailgate in a mid-variant but none in the totl. i also wished they at least added a center armrest and aircon vents at the rear. nevertheless, this is still a good and practical choice given its price.

I was provided with this new V.E. as a loan car while my vehicle is being repaired at a crash repairer. I can't help feeling in getting my vehicle back not soon enough. The most disturbing experience i have with the MG ZS is the lane assist. There is no were for me to turn this annoying function off. It is a nerving experience having our normal steering effort interfered with. We are capable people and if we were not then we should not have a licence to drive. It becomes even more concerning at a higher speed. I need to keep it under 100km so as for the vehicle not feel so wobbly with enough bounce from left to right and vice versa. It feels almost as if one has a loose front wheel. It just does not feel safe to me driving this car and i think it should be reviewed by Australian authority. Everyhting about it feels cheap right to the plastic door handles. Affointment is basic and does not provide for optional functions. The brakes are not the best and it does take a little more pressure to get an effect. The pedal position is not even right. My foot presses on the pedal and the bar. The interior lights are akind to holding a candle inside and there is no light for the rear seating area. It is a lot of money to fork out and onr deserves better standards. But i be forgiven it being Chinese made in explaining all.

What's the reason why they did not put any buttons on the steering wheel?

Bagong release ba to? MG needs to rethink or restrategize how they can further make n imprint in the market. Hindi yung basta makarelease lang ng sasakyan (or edition ng sasakyan). What would make their vehicles stand out? Why should people buy their vehicles? What should people look forward to in their releases? As Simon Sinek would say: start with the Why This vehicle is about as plain and normal as it could get and if in buyer, im better off buying a plain and normal japanese brand so that when it brakes down at least me piyesa na mabibili. No wonder andaming MG na repossessed units.

Puro ka reklamo 😂 MG Philippines released the MG GT Sedan a couple of months ago and its Alpha variant is selling well MG ZS is selling very well in the Philippines and in Australia. Its miles better than buying an underpowered and small Toyota Raize which is just a badly built Daihatsu 😂

@@KuchingKingVideoGamer MG actually lost some sales to Geely last year. Check their sales reports. But their AU sales increased 27.1%.

I'd take the Tiggo 5x Luxury variant over this one.

For my reference, how tall are you?

No steering wheel controls and no physical buttons to control the usual things is going to bite you after the initial excitement wears off.

GREAT CAR BUT a Nightmare AfterSale . Very Bad customer service in Philippines . No available spare parts . Rapair can Take up to 6 months ...No Temporary car replacement will be provided during long repair time .
