@RajinderYadav On the MBP 2015 version, the fans make noise under CPU load. But previously, the MBA overheated without fans, so that's why people chose the Pro.

I have a 2015 Macbook Pro, i7, 512GB, 16 GB of RAM and it's been a workhorse for me for years. I have no complaints, even today, still runs great.

What tasks do you throw at it… cos I took got one recently the same year 15” with spec and the and graphic 2.5ghz ,,,,, am new to Mac but I need it for programming coding and 1080p video edit including some photo shop,,,, do you think this machine will aid out

Though I have Macbook Pro M1 Pro 16 Inch, i love 2015 model so much that I went ahead and bought a used one from someone just to spend lighter tasks on that. Infact, it can do most of my work :-) I will always have a 2015 with me from now on. That model has cult following.

This is the comparison I needed. I’m planning on buying either a new MacBook Pro 16” specd out or a Mac mini. I’m not a pro user but I could be. Music production is a thing and I could do video editing and use the m2 for my 3D modeling software for my home remodeling projects This m2 is how fast windows wishes it could be.

Hi! I do have exactly the same Macbook Pro 2015 as you showed. I work with photography, use a lot Lightroom and Photoshop. Sometimes I need to export a lot of files, like over 500. Do you think that Air with M2 can handle it even without fans? If i change my 2015 pro for the M2, I would be making a good change? Thanks!

Hi, that depends on how you transfer the data. Do you use the external thunderbolt or usb SSD port on the mbp 2015 to transfer data? usb-c thunderbolt is faster i have also noticed that when i use macbook pro with 50% battery its performance drops and even more so if the temperature is high.

I have the mid 2015 MacBook Pro with only 75 battery cycles, AMD Radeon graphics card. Is it still a solid machine?

@@Cuadricep04 Yeah, a race would give much better indication of the worth of an upgrade. If the M2 shaves 2 minutes off all these task, I'm not considering upgrading. But if it saves 30 minutes to an hour? That's a big jump in time savings. A race gives a very clear picture of time savings.
