What models would you recommend for the west coast? Southern California area, lakes and light ocean use. Love these boats!

Thanks for the feedback! The 2025 Falcon is a great inland / light ocean use boat, but the 2025 Escape is a bit more capable and safer with a higher hp rating if it fits your budget. Both are great boats.

Nice boat but the battery switches are at a odd spot

This is more designed for inland use. Kingfisher's Sport series boats have self bailing closed off bows making them safer for big water. Not saying you couldn't use this on the ocean, you'd just have more limitations.

Does Brunswick own Kingfisher? I hate Mercury; won’t own any boat with Mercury. Also, you didn’t mention the reverse chines…

No, Kingfisher is privately owned. This boat does have full reverse chines. Cheers
