I purchased this same setup and wondering if it will get the job done. I'm thinking that I should have bought a larger unit.

It works very well bigger is always better. I will say uses a lot of fuel 1 tank of gas every 4 hrs in heavy snow seem like it should use less

comment on how the snowblower works with 8" of slush, does it plug up like my x390 blower?

yes. And every time i trailer it the fuel line pickup brakes off under the seat even when the dealer picks it up and drops it off they brake it off as well pain in the ?

Are you satisfied with the traction those chains give you? I have the same setup and I had the dealer put some vbar chains on it and it goes much better. If I could do it over, I would have bought the x738 with 4 wheel drive...........a lot more money, but well worth it.

Yes I'm happy with it. They are the vbar chains that are on the tractor. They're very good. Hard on my garage floor so I put carboard down to help. My drive way is gravel . 4 wheel drive would be better

Mine worked OK when the snow was wet and heavy with the chains I had before, but when it got really cold and was dry powder I couldn't get very good traction, so that's when I got the vbar chains.@@dion1057
