2023 Jeep Renegade and the reason they aren't selling

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Jeep says they have over 600 days supply of Renegades hanging around. I look at one here and find out why. Would you buy this tiny imported Jeep?

@@BoopSnoot Good for them. My 2015 Trailhawk has been trouble free for 136,000 miles. Aside from a little minor "pinstriping" from running trails, it still looks and functions like it did when new. Nothing has broken or stopped working yet. 2018 2.4 L paid $24K only problem we're having is the passenger window travels up too high and tears up the trim pieces. Dealer worked on it under warranty still not fixed. It goes up about 1/4" higher than the driver window. Other than that like it nice ride. 4WD but never use it.

$16.5K x 2.5 = $38.9K The $16.5K is what I paid for my brand new 2017 Renegade in Dec. 2017. The 2.5 mulitplier means that I could have bought 2-1/2 Regegades back then for the $38.9K price of one now. Granted, compared to the TRAIL HAWK in the video, mine is only a SPORT, but it with the lighter 4x2 setup and the 6speed manual/1.4 turbo engine combo, it's a bunch more fun to drive on the road. Plus, mine is very well-equipped and still runs like a top with 100K miles on it. Have only replaced the stablilizer links thus far and that was fairly inexpensive. On the flipside, with the inventory so high right now, i suspect you could get a Renegade waaay below sticker price just like I did. For what I paid, I couldn't be happier.

I get you on the price point but this suv and the one you have serve totally different purposes. The renegade trail hawk that you showed is meant to go off road into some pretty difficult terrain. The same can’t be said for your escape titanium so if your into going off the beaten path the renegade is gonna give you far more value and capability.
