Very impressive SUV from Isuzu, I'm disappointed though that Isuzu still doesn't have a 360° camera fitted on this flagship Onyx model. Those are extremely handy when parking such large cars

I had the pleasure of being in one during the SA Motoring festival which were used as shuttles to the 4x4 section. All seven adults were seating comfortably so and no one complained about leg room. The power was also impressive and the fuel consumption is great as well.

I was driving this car some time last week. I enjoyed it. Great car. 👌👌🤞🤞👌👌Very aggressive, you're confident overtaking on a hill.

Because of this country's 🇿🇦 state of affairs, this SUV is a safer buy as compared to the Fortuner and Everest. I doubt this is on the top 50 stolen vehicles.

very nice car this one but personally I'd choose a ford everest platinum and thanks to your dope review of it, you made me fall in love with it. also it packs a lot of dope features that i liked 👌🏾

Great review Mr how much,Isuzus are very reliable if not overly so cause since long ago Isuzus could take way too much more than a beating but still continue to please their owners. We who grew from the villages knows how overworked these cars are but still continue as if it's nothing.

This looks really nice, I think if Isuzu was to comeback to the USA and convert it to LHD it would sell well.

I would like to inform you that it actually does have LHD, sold over in the Philippines. Kinda wish they had a V6 though, only an I4, 1.9 Diesel and a 3.0 Diesel

Lovely car, I always drive the Toyota Fortuner and haven't had a chance to drive the ISUZU MUX, however, from the review it seems Iike a good competitor and I wouldn't mind an ISUZU, cos the Fortuner always gives me sleepless nights, and always watching my back.

I would likely buy this over the Everest... But I wonder how these cars compare to the Hyundai Palisade, cause it's at a similar price point. The Hyundai, I imagine, would be less capable off-road, but more compliant on the road. Please do a Palisade review!!

They are not direct competitors. Palisade is a full size SUV same with ford explorer or toyota prado. Mux is a mid sized SUV

I love the colour and do think it is a great buy. Wouldn't mind the MU-X in my garage. Would prefer 17" wheels, 18" is scarce and pricey

ISUZU MUX for me from bakkies to MUX, they don’t top the list of most stolen cars in SA and they're reliable like TOYOTA 💯 😅

I had three 4x4 SUV's on the list specifically for use as tow vehicles - the MUX (Agricultural) / Pajero Sport (Archaic)/Fortuner (if you dare) - the `MUX ended up at the top of this list 30 you tube video reviews later per vehicle give or take.. that is until my better half sat in it (context - from an RX 350) - received an automatic thumbs down. NEEDLESS TO SAY - and unpractically left field speaking I'm blowing the budget on a Disco. So much for common sense. 🙂

Nice review, but you forgot to mention the intrusive beeping sounds from the overly cautious safety systems. Also 2nd row does not slide and lastly, the very antiquated and really old school infotainement system. But if reliability is your main priority then, yes brilliant vehicle and less likely to be stolen than a Fortuner. Other competitors could also include Mitsubishi Pajero Sport and even Chery Tiggo 8 if 4X4 is not a must

The car is packed with things that make life simple 😂. But I'm not feeling the front, it does grow on you but it looks as though the bottom of the car is missing or something. Atleast that's what I thought when I first saw it.

Probably the best-looking Isuzu yet, but I personally feel the Everest XLT is a better buy for 160k less, followed by the Everest Sport for 60k less than the Isuzu, but damn, you are almost hitting a bar by then 💵💵💵 , just buy the Wildtrak or Platinum Everest 😉
