I was there and the lighting was terrible; but Samson was stealing the show. Every time they moved Samson towards the center the crowd would have a great response. There is no denying that Derek has an insane back; but, his chest and overall front poses were not that great. He lacked density and separation and was the weakest of the top three from the front. He also has an insane X-frame; but his legs were also lacking density and separation from the front. This was my first time live what we are looking at cannot compare to how it looked in person. I know that in the finals Samson was losing a lot of water - so the finals weren’t his best night. Hadi looked insane in person as well; much better than in the video. Derek didn’t look much better in person; however, his back shots were out of this world. It’s a good thing the judges “know better”; because Samson could have taken it had it been up to the crowd. Let’s be a bit critical of Derek and check out his front poses versus Samson; especially his flat chest.

Derek’s has the best back can’t deny that. But he looks not so great from in front compared to Hadi, Samsons, and even Andrew. Can’t understand why he can win No.1 the highest I think he can be is No.3.

Krizo was incredible

I couldn't figure out what was up with Andrews right lat but then i watched him get into the pose. When he first gets into the pose both lats look the same but when he fully hits and squeezes you can see the right lat noticeably drop😂

I had Hadi winning the front shots. Derek taking the back shots. Them splitting the side shots with Hadi on the side chest (striations and vascularity was better) and Derek taking the side Tricep (more definition, better size in the tricep, and just more aesthetic). I had it very close in the abs/thighs, but ultimately Hadi taking that pose (again just more striations and better vascularity). Finally, Hadi taking the most muscular. Now, that's not to say that it wasn't very close in some of those poses and it truly could have gone either way. Derek has a much better v-taper and waist, so I can see the argument for him winning some poses I may have given to Hadi. The opposite is true as well with Hadi being more vascular and better conditioned from the front. Ultimately, I was not there in person so all I can go by is the video which may tell a different story than the live perspective.

The second group should have been taken by Andrew; but he was acting as if he didn’t want to be there. He was sucking the air out of stage with his demeanor. He was very different from all other shows - he sabotaged himself with his bad presentation. Brandon Curry looked terrible and should have been last or third on that group. His legs and glutes from behind looked as if he was 7 weeks out; if not worse.

Andrew is overrated. Tonio has way better glues and hams and was somehow like 5 places behind.

Tonio looked great; but was looking as if he was a “men’s physique” competitor next to all of them big fellas. The gap in size was extremely noticeable in person. His physique was very similar to that of Dexter Jackson in his better days; but looked very outsized. It’s a shame because he has tremendous flow and great shape.

@@t3drill I agree, Tonio does remind me of Dexter in a way. Andrew just looks incomplete, worst conditioning that anyone else in top 10, and cant pose back shots. IMO probably most overhyped BB from 2 years ago
