How did you do that LED unlocking ceremony with head-lights and tail-lights? Maybe the US versions were not made with that feature. Or is there a setting to enable that?

@@jamesmorrall2744 I read in an Ioniq forum that US headlights and rear lights are not the same as in Korea and therefore do not have this feature 😢 hopefully in the near future or something with an update! I’m hopeful.

@@dylanscholsberg8785 no good news yet! The US makes their head and tail lights without this feature, but if I figure out a way to modify I will report back 👍 hopefully there will be an update including this.

The blue lines mean that its a bus lane and most crosswalks in korea light up so people who look at their phones dont run into the street

What an improvement with the black interior, the white is horrible. The interior is definitely more "interesting" than a Model 3, however. accent lighting and screen mirrors are nothing more than a distraction, you still have to have bits poking out anyway (Is the hazard light button any bigger!). The interface touch the screen just seems old an antiquated compared to Tesla, its just not fast and fluid. About the only thing I prefer in the end is the framed doors and easier door handles. Trunk and frunk are definitely inferior.

I will certainly give this car a look when it is eventually released here in the United States. I have heard that we will not get the rear view side cameras but will have traditional mirrors. If that turns out to be true, it will be a little bit disappointing but not a deal breaker.

@@Dinulik762 You may right. It might take a year or two or five to convince the regulars that they won't be too distracting for the average driver. Look at how long it took for back-up (reverse gear) cameras to be accepted even though the technology was available for many, many years.

I ordered it without the e-Mirrors bcs they're static and always worse than my own eyes. If you lean forward, you can see more with normal mirrors because you change the angle but it stays the same with electric ones

that artificial engine sound is annoying even at lower speeds it sounds like its about to hit red line :/

The sound of this car does sound like an orhcestra played on vinyl whilst someone is slowing it down...

I have one in the same exterior color, it looks great .... even better with the grey interior. The driving sounds however are always switched off, I will never understand what people like about them.

Very impressive, but I sure hope that weird whirring motor soundtrack can be turned down!

I just left it on to add interest to the video. It's on maximum volume - you can turn the volume down, or turn it off. (You can see the menu for the fake noise at 1:13.) I prefer it off. Nice, quiet, peaceful motoring.
