2023 Hyundai i20, i20 N Line facelift walkaround - small but notable changes | OVERDRIVE

Hyundai India launched the 2023 Hyundai i20 facelift last month, alongside which the sportier i20 N Line has also been revised. We now bring you a quick look at all that’s changed with these two hatchbacks. What do you think about these updates are they enough for the i20 to continue to stand out in this segment?
The revised i20 and 120 N Line now get slightly updated fascia with a more aggressive grille, new full LED lighting and different bumpers. The N Line gets a sharper set of allows while the standard i20 gets a new grey-off-white interior. The features list continues to remain the same aside from some minor additions, although notably Hyundai now offers 6 airbags as standard across all its models.
A change that distinguishes the two version further is the choice of engine options. The standard Hyundai i20 facelift can now only be had with the 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol. This makes 83PS with a 5-speed manual or 88PS with a CVT, with 115 Nm in both versions. The 1.0-litre turbo-petrol is now only available with the i20 N Line with its 120PS and 172 Nm. The iMT has been dropped for a 6-speed manual in this version alongside the 7-speed DCT.
Prices for the i20 start from Rs 6.99 lakh for the ew base Era variant and go up to Rs 11.16 lakh. The Hyundai i20 N Line is priced from Rs 9.99 lakh, going up to Rs 12.47 lakh.

    1:08 1.2 petrol doesn't have 6 speed gearbox. Only N line has 6 speed

    Any changes in nline suspensions? Are they plusher?

    I don't think so. When I get one, I will upgrade suspension & tires when the OEM tires wear off(~30k kms).

    Why you want plush suspension in nline? Go for the regular i20. Nline has stiffer suspension by design.

    @@tuhinguha8758 yeah pretty much even my parents loved it and encouraged to buy it but i backstepped hoping 2024 model will have better interiors and then boom its gone 😭😭

    Yeah went down to manual but kept the Imts prices, infact raised it over 10K, removed the rear handrest too. I waited for the new N line but seems like they are rebadging old I20 N and normal top models as new Nline. Drive modes is the only new thing added. 13.8L Onroad, hmm

    @@NripanNath Yeah no no, I meant selling older Nline as facelifted one with a manual. Not just "normal i20", but old i20 n line. Manual and 'drive modes' are the only new features I think. So I booked pre fecelift version for 65K offer. gets it in 10 days.

    Should I go for N6 OR N8 Manual. N8 Seems a little bit more pricier but do the features justify n8 or n6. Can i get few important features from the market?
