2023 Hyundai Elantra Gas vs Hybrid | Which is Right for You?

In this video, I drive the 2023 Hyundai Elantra SEL Convenience and the 2023 Elantra Limited Hybrid and see how each powertrain drives. With totally different drivetrains in each of these vehicles, one might wonder how each drives. I found the Hybrid Elantra to be very interesting and quite engaging/fascinating. The ICE powered Elantra was perfect for daily transportation and is very refined for this segment of vehicle. The Hybrid is great for those that was the improved fuel economy, more features (Limited), and a few other tweaks from the normal Elantra's. Me too. This sound goes back to the 2015MY vehicles when the Genesis sedan debut this updated sound. It made its way throughout the lineup of Hyundai vehicles shortly after.

Just wondering when will the 2024 hybrid limited elantra be available in the US. I'm really interested of buying one just waiting for the 2024.
I own a luxury HEV trim , no pwr seats, im in Canada, its no powerhouse but its decent, i do enjoy the bose stereo, one complaint is the engine noise...under load when regenerating the battery. Knocky..sort of especially when sitting idle and running to charge .. My dealer says its normal....however if u tap the throttle quickly the knocky noise disapates my average L/100KM Fuel economy is 4.2L . over 60mpg.

That noise is the "virtual engine sound system". Its activated when in EV mode and driving below 28kmph

Thank you for all the Elantra videos, i am doing my research on different variants, currently debating between Elantra 2023 Limited hybrid vs Sonata Hybrid blue 2023, if you have any input regarding that please let me know.

Both will be great choices. I would say a few items to consider are going to be the features within the vehicles. Are you looking for cloth or leather? The Elantra Limited Hybrid will have many more features that the Sonata does not. If you simply want a more basic interior but slightly larger then the Sonata is the way to go. If you want more features/creature comforts, then the Elantra will be the way to go. If it were me, I would pick the Elantra Limited Hybrid.
