Always a great time with our friends Moe and Eric Newman from Journey South Outfitters. Louisiana is such a diverse fishery. We spend some time with them exploring the diverse fishery they have. The Offshore fishing here is having the possibility to fish for something different every day of the week. We spend a couple days arm wrestling giant mangrove snappers from the depths of the oil rigs. It is amazing how much life lives beneath these giant rigs and how much habitat they provide. It has the Water World or post apocalyptic feel as you fish beneath them. We lucked out with some great tasting fish that Eric cooked up for us which made all the pain worth it.
