This video kind of proves my point, a good rider can be so smooth and get the most out of a small bore, where a big bore just covers up a not so great riders mistakes with raw power. In other words put Tomac, Jet, AP etc on this bike, and all the people that laugh at the Xr on a 450, see who wins. It’s not the bike, (until it’s actually holding you back.) That’s a pretty extreme example I know, but you get my point.

Not that I know of.... But he was a pretty good A-main racer when I met him.

OH WOW you are just a regular Ricky Carmichael on a Honda CR 250...NOT. That track will eventually kill that bike my son had the CRF 150F and destroyed it on a much simpler track than yours. And the CRF's are way more off road oriented and lighter than the XR is.

@bultacowally your negative comment wasn’t needed. This guy just wanted his friend to test ride it off-road. Just because your son crashed doesn’t mean that this guy will. It’s a dual sport, no one claimed that it was as good as a dirt bike.

Its fum but its a gutless 4 stroke with bad shocks & forks.
