I just test drove both. Leaning more Pathfinder SL over Pilot EX-L 8 because of dealers discounts and better interest rates. If they were similarly priced I probably would choose the Pilot because of more spacious 3rd row. Kevin, thank you for your review. You are one of the best with Savagegeese and The Car Care Nut. Been watching your videos for a while now.

If they were the same price, I would go Pilot, but for the reasons you stated, Pathfinder is simply the best deal right now. I like the Nissan Pathfinder Platinum 4wd. 3.5 V6 284 hp and 2nd gen. 9 speed transmission with 7 driving modes no CVT.44.5" leg room for driver and passenger. Updated styling 20" aluminum wheels with panoramic roof. 3 Row seating upgraded leather. Nice comfortable ride . . . Great price!

The Pathfinder key fob is terrible. Black of Black was a dumb idea.

The Pilot is definitely better looking. But I will say that an old school Pathfinder saved me from freezing to death (literally) one year. I still remember how safe I felt riding all those miles back home. So thank you Pathfinder... And whoever those guys were who picked up 3 total strangers from a cave, and drove us 2 or 3 counties back home. Thank You! You literally saved our lives. You have no idea how close we came to freezing to death.

i think the pathfinder is more truck like then the rest in thier class which i like myself that and the nissian has a v6 with a timing chain not a v6 that has a timing belt like the honda if that belt breaks it ruins the engine

Excellent video. I'd probably pony up the extra 5K for the Pilot. They really could do better with thrid row spacing. Keep up the great work!

Nothing wrong with that! Pilot is truly great you can’t go wrong here and I really do think you can negotiate 2-3k off on a Pilot so that certainly helps. Pilot 3rd row imo is much better that’s one think I don’t like regarding the pathfinder for families who will be looking forward to utilizing the 3rd row they will be disappointed. Grand Highlander and Lexus TX are a game changer for this segment as the third row should house adults

I'm leasing the rock creek trim and I love it. Like you said , Pathfinder has the edge because the deals. I negotiate my lease . And they are selling out here ( Houston metro)

Nissan is offering 3,400 off with no haggling. I agree with the piano black. Just have a lot of microfiber cloths around. Pilot is too big for me personally.

I would, in this situation, go Honda. They seldom don't end up being great vehicles. Resale, probably Honda, the Nissan train just never left the station with me, Toyota and Honda pushed them down market in the minds of many of us that have been around for a while I guess.

Prestige, higher quality, better dealer experience, better chassis and driveability it’s pretty much the case with every luxury product. I know when you watch reviews on eco cars like this you get the idea that these things are amazing and sure they are good. But the reality is, eco brands and eco cars are just that, boring economy vehicles that will not light your world on fire. If you want to know the truth I hate all eco cars and there’s maybe 5 cars that I genuinely like and find “exciting” or “impressive:” LC 500, S63, Porsche GT3, Ferrari, and like a Hellcat. But it would be ridiculous to review an economy car and say, “all cheap cars suck, buy a Lamborghini Urus.” That’s just goofy and unrealistic even if it’s true. Average consumer doesn’t want to hear that and it doesn’t help them.
