    If you live in Arizona, Florida or anywhere in-between; pay the extra $5,000 and get the cooled seats on the Elite trim. It's an extra $1.14 a day if you drive the van for 12 years. $1.70 if you don't count the 4 months of autumn, winter, and spring. Your kids will also appreciate the rear speakers too.

    Living in Mexico we only get 1 trim in 2023 and while it's the "touring" ventilated (but not heated) seats are part of it, as well as some other things. They're nice but I'm not really sold on them yet tbh, and we live in the desert, so high heat is a given. Any potential buyer should check them out to see if they like them, but for more bang for your buck wise is to get the best ceramic tint you can afford and tint the car with it, it will make it slower to heat up in the first place.

    Good content 👍 that short clip of the engine bay was pretty rough though lol made me sick. We have a 2023 Odyssey touring and love it so far. There are a few things though I wish were different such as a larger infotainment screen and more options closer to the elite. We also found that on the touring the cabin talk has to be done through the headphones where as the elite can cabin talk through the rear speakers. Idk why Honda would not make that an option for all cabin talk users. We paid MSRP for the vehicle plus a small charge for the locking lug nuts. Was it worth it? I think so so far but we’ll see!

    Naturally with 3 children we had a mini van. While I miss having kids in the house I am very happy we can drive a regular car now days. Had our Dodge caravan been built as well as this Honda it would probably still be in the driveway. So in some respect I'm grateful it only lasted about 10 years.

    Thanks for showing the Touring trim! Recently I discovered that the 2023 Odyssey uses double-pane glasses for Touring and Elite trims. For the Elite trim, there are on both the front and sliding doors windows. However, the double-pane glasses only exist on the front windows on the Touring trim. Hope this will help some potential buyers. 😀

    So on the back tail door opening height, what happens if someone comes along and resets with it closed? Definitely does not worth the thousand or two the dealer will add on either way. What is the base model like since you seem to be having a great time walking through things in a manner that most of us can understand? Thanks for taking the time Also meant to ask, in the third row, doesn't look like very to any emergency aggress options, so how would you get out quick basically?

    The only thing that has me thinking of a Pacifica over the Odyssey is the magic seats. Not the seats themselves, but the huge bump on the floor when you remove the seats. I have 2 big dogs and would mainly use just the 3rd row for people seating and leave the middle wide open.

  • @donnalevy4377

    @donnalevy4377

    Жыл бұрын

    This is why I had the Town & Country (Now the Pacifica) when I had 4 large dogs. The stow and go seating for 2nd row was great to keep down but put back up if you needed them. When down, the dogs could just jump in and use the 3rd row or lay on the floor.

    I have had a 22 oddessey elite for over a year now.....totally worth it. I love the air conditioned seats and the v6 has lots of power going up mountains fully loaded on our road trips. I thought the price was kind of high until I started looking at new suburbans and realized that everything is more expensive now. We would buy this van again....but the 2 biggest things going for the Sienna is obviously mpg of the hybrid and the 360 birds eye view. BTW, the 10 speed transmission is finally built in house and suppose to have much better long term reliability then some of the other oddesseys of the last decade.

    Agreed on the joy that is the V6 on the highway even with the car loaded up, you're never short on power and you can pick up speed quickly if you're not paying attention. The Sienna's MPG difference is nice and it's a solid van, but they're still in some parts of the US, and in most of Mexico and Canada, impossible to get without paying above MSRP or waiting for 6months-18 months.

    150W ac power is useless. That's only 1.3 amp draw. It won't power a laptop. Needs 400+W to be useful. The rear climate control vents should be from above. I prefer a manual gear shifter rather than just buttons. Car seems to be full of extra technology that will eventually need service. I would rather stay with the EXL or Sport package.
