Thanks for the review Jack. I've got the same 'bike' but mine's a 2022 with a silver CVT side cover, I notice yours is black which is nicer, I think. I agree with all your comments, the ADV350 is way better than people might assume. Plenty of power and entertaining handling. The brakes are up to the job and the suspension, though firm at the back, works well. Any harshness in the twin shocks doesn't interfere with the handling. Once the bikes leant over it's really stable. The seat is wide, as you say, but tapers towards the front and so with a bit of shuffling forwards, I think smaller people could manage. I've done close to 6,000 miles now and its definitely holding my interest unlike many other bikes I've owned. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts after a few more miles. Cheers.

Great review. Just coming up to my 1st service and have no complaints at all, other than the headlight needing adjusting down a bit and I can't find any reference to that in the manual. Could be a lot worse! I've been riding 50yrs, and like you, ridden just about everything including various Harley's over 30yrs. Got a 1250GS (which is also fantastic, as it should be for the price). The ADV can do pretty much the same job as the GS, especially on the back roads of Derbyshire, and you don't have to change your own gears ☺ I've used a RAM ball replacing a handlebar clamp screw. Cheap and neat phone/sat nav mount. Use one on my GS too. My mate has an S1000XR; takes the piss out of the scooter but can't shake me off over the back roads. I'm 70kg, so it goes really well 🤣 All round, bags of fun, cheap to run and good value.

I have the same scooter and I'm really pleased with it as well. Obviously the wind protection and the quite hard back suspension aren't perfect but for the rest I can't find any flaws. About the key problem I hope that you will solve it soon. On a Greek video someone mention something about an electromagnetic interference that might block the key. The company suggested that you have to maybe move the scooter a few meters away and mostly that you press the key button until the usually green light becomes red. Then back to green and red a couple of times. The last should be green of course and it should work. Try it and I hope that it will solve your little problem. Ride safety!

I've had a similar problem with my keyless startup on my honda adv 150. I'm not an expert on this sort of thing but I think it may be some kind of electronic interference from my phone that I had in the same pocket of my pants. I'm not sure if that is possible, but when I moved the phone to a pocket that was away from the fob, I never have a problem with the fob linking up to the bike. I usually keep my phone in the left hand side cubby in the front of the bike. I've never had a problem with it not starting when kept there. A handlebar mount like you have, may be in just the right, wrong place, to cause an interference. I'd be curious to know if anyone else has had a similar experience. I sure wish that honda would bring the 350 to the states. Scooters are awesome! 😊

Pleasant user's review. Thanks. A couple of other you tubers have mentioned encountering your very same key problem and in both cases they found equal solution to the issue. The Honda dealer may have forgotten to tell you that all other things aside, their keyless scooter engines will not turn on unless you pull one of the break levers while you activate the ignition switch. I too came across the same issue when I first started riding my Sh 300. So, next time it happens, try giving one of your break levers a REALLY tight squeeze. Hope it works for you too. Safe riding.

After few mintutes if you walk away and come close to the bike, it would then work. I had this issue twice as I did my training from Honda and had the bike for 4 days. Great review and a very nice looking bike. I ride a Forza 350 and like you am very pleased with it. I had the keyless issue a few years back when I owned a SH300i. The dealer changed the fob (only one supplied then) and the new unit worked without issue. Have you tried using the spare fob for a few days to see if the problem persists? I'm surprised that Honda haven't fitted an electric screen to this model, I use mine quite a bit on the Forza. I must admit, I prefer the analogue speedo / rev counter on the Forza, although the digital screen on the ADV looks smart. The suspension looks a lot better on the ADV, it's functional on the Forza but very basic / budget. Like you, I'm extremely impressed with the 350 (really 330cc 😀) engine. My previous bike was a SH300i and the increase in power is really noticeable. This engine performs really well and I have had a few raised eyebrows at the lights when I've pulled away! The other benefit with this engine is the superb economy, I'm getting over 80mpg and that creeps up to 85mpg on a long steady ride. At 5ft 5in, I manage the seat height but tend to slide forward when coming to a stop so I can safely reach the ground. It was a bit daunting when I first got the Forza but now it comes as second nature .. plus the wide seat is very comfortable. I think both the Forza and ADV make great commuters, with the ability to be able to do motorway speeds with relative ease.
