So, things don't always go as planned, but it's how you overcome those hurdles that separates you from others! Today we're going over a 2023 Harley Street Glide ST. This is a pretty stout bike from the factory, but with a few modifications, you can really wake this thing up. Now, Brandon has some additional modifications in the plans for this harley, but we're going to start simple. Of course, he has the saddlemen seat for the street glide, but for performance, he threw on a Sharkroad 2-1 side dump exhaust and the ST intake. Now, down the road he his going to instal a 475 cam kit from T-Man Performance in this street glide. Anyways, like always, we did a dyno base run to see what this bike does completely stock, which we will compare to the final numbers. We also did another base line with the shark exhaust installed. Then of course, another pull once it's dyno tuned and ecu flashed. But this whole process didn't go without a hickup.. So, what happens when you brick a harley ECU? Can you fix a bricked ECU? Well, you figure it out. Basically what happened was the battery had low voltage which caused an error when re-writing the ECU. At first, we weren't sure what happened, but after some digging, we were able to figure out the issue and get it resolved. So yes, we bricked the harley street glide ECU, but we were able to recover it and get this street glide pumping out some power! This is just one of those things we run into from time to time when adding performance to a motorcycle. This is a rare occurrence, but it does happen. Thanks to our extensive ecu tuning background, we were able to get it taken care of. If you just want to know what the Sharkroad 2-1 exhaust sounds on a street glide, you'll get some great sound clips of the street glide. This thing sounds amazing and now pulls like crazy! Super happy with this performance harley!

great info.. it confirms that swapping out an exhaust is not enough, and may actually hurt you if you don't do a proper tune. Many people just swap out bikes and then wonder why their bikes don't feel as fast and usually blame the type of exhaust.. Tune it baby! that's where the power comes from.. thanks for sharing..

I got my Fat Boy "Killmonger" in 2021. Put a Lithium battery 🔋 in it. It has never seen a battery tender sense. I got my 2021 Road Glide "SilverBAK" in 2023. Put a Gravity lithium in the week I got it. That original battery died on the way to Harley's 120th in Milwaukee. Go figure. The mods I'm doing are going on two months on the lift. I have to put the Genius 10 on it now. Good video, Subscribed, 2FD SKWID ET1 SS/SW/MTS US Navy, Ret.

115hp/128tq guess / I was off lol P.S. I do side IT work for a shop in NC, and they use mostly the star 30/30 cam with D&D exhaust, they will average on 117CI 117RWHP (he didn't give me the TQ numbers). I am not sure what brand dyno they are getting dyno tuned on, he only does the mechanical work these days and lets the tuning get contracted out. That's what I want to put in my 107, after I get my '24 S1000rr knocked out. Great video and nice bike!

No kidding on these batteries failing at any time. I just had to replace the battery in both my wife's 2023 CFMoto 450ss with 2 miles on it and my 2022 GSXR1000R with 2100 miles on it. These batteries are driving me crazy!

Batteries for all vehicles are just cheaply these days. No matter the brand or type. Been through so many on my cars and SUVs the past several years. I replace them at least once a year no matter what... gotta love those warranties, lol.

Stop fondling the ECU and it won't get bricked up. 😆🙃
