My pleasure! The HUD was awesome! That was the first time I had seen Virpil controls in person, and had always heard the build quality was good, and was nice to see how well built it is. Really like the new Viper throttle from Thrustmaster.

Thanks for making this video, it was awesome. I liked the corsair too !

Glad you liked it! They have a beautiful Corsair for sure! Never saw combat, as that particular one is a post war -5 variant. More power version of the R-2800, better cockpit layout, and four 20mm cannons which replaced the six .50 cal machine guns in the wings.

That's awesome! It was a neat experience for sure! I would like to fly one for real one day, and also would love to see one developed for DCS as well. Kinda kicking myself for not having all of my GoPro mounts with me so I could have had a better camera angle.

It does, I wish they would have advertised it better!

I got my virpil controls earlier this year. Had a Thrustmaster Tm16000 before. It`s a night and day difference, can`t even compare. Downside is, it`s costly and delivery took quite a while. Other than that it`s simply the best.

From what Tony at the Virpil booth said, the delivery times should go down in the near future since they've expanded production. Looking forward to expanding my simpit with some of their hardware. Including you, I've have heard so much good stuff about their hardware!

I bought mine in the first week of this month, and I got a message that it will be arriving this week. So about a month waiting.

So torn. Saving for a Virpil setup but that Thrustmaster F-15 throttle looks absolutely awesome.

DC3 Sim - That brought back memories - Had a couple of very interesting flight in one, in Africa, a few years ago. Kinshasa -> Banana -> Kinshasa 😱

They didn't have one. I only saw two sims represented there and they were Microsoft Flight Sim 2020 and X-Plane 12. Prepare3D and IL2 weren't there either.

Too bad Thrustmaster has done a bad job in terms of Customer Services, It's like pulling teeth to get to them to respond or acknowledge anything, yet their products aren't cheap and their support is so bad. I see why Virpil and other companies are giving them a run for their money..

The Virpil setup tools are so vastly superior to the Thrustmaster version that even if the HOTAS itself wasn't as good, it'd be worth it just for that. The TM UI is awful.

@mopic312 My experience with them was a lot better. My weapon select switch broke on the Hornet grip that I have, so I filed a case. Got a response in about 2 days, and had a replacement switch in hand about a week after that. @madaxe606 I really like their design with the roller bearings and cams.

Don't get me wrong, I love TM, purchased the warthog throttle and sticks but when the throttle started failing and I tried to get them to work with me, they kind of blew me off. I ended up buying another one as I liked the throttle so much, however I might go another direction once these fail...

Those plastic rudder pedals from Thrustmaster are the Bain of my existence...do not buy

I've flown them once on my son's computer, and they seemed alright. The pedals are a bit to close to each other to me. The did have a set of the much nicer TPR pedals on the next table over, and there was a set at the Viper demo I tried out. Those felt pretty solid!
