Olly is my favorite gymnastics commentator. he was so incredibly (and rightfully!) supportive and kind about the young Chinese gymnast who really struggled, especially because this was her first overseas international competition ever. of course she's going to make mistakes and struggle! she's fifteen! it was just so heartwarming to hear him defend her like that. he always talks about the potential and futures of the youngest athletes and speaks with respect about the experience of the elder gymnasts. he's just great. and he cracks me up lol he has such supportive uncle energy

Thank you for uploading this! FIG, if you are reading comments, the constantly moving camera is causing motion sickness to the point where I cannot watch this final. Cameras don’t stay still for a second. They’re either moving angles or zooming in and zooming out. Please consider using the more traditional methods of video recording gymnastics. Thank you!

I had to quit watching too bc it’s making me nauseous. Who thought this was a good idea to move the camera so much. Feels like I’m on a ride at Disneyworld that I didn’t pay for 😅

it feels like they let an overenthusiastic intern design the camera work and the intern was just really excited about dynamic camera work and didn't consider how an actual viewer might feel lol

@@reginageorge8080on one hand, I think that's an excellent analogy, and I'm just lucky I don't get too much motion sickness in general so this hasn't really affected me. but on the other hand, I can't help but think "but hey, free disney-like experience" lol

Congratulations especially for Anna Lashchevska of the Ukraine. Despite the hell of war going on in her country, she has risen to the challenge and did a wonderful job. Amazing.

Happy Easter celebrations friends, Happy Renaissance spirit we need the most, sports competitions are the very best point for a start & let them all schools have extra sports programs for students giving them a chance to perform and become world wide champions, go for it champs l am the biggest supporter of yours, you can bet on it

They’re killing me with the moving camera work. They introduced a camera like that a few years ago for the football field and it’s just as terrible here as it is there.

there were Filipino gymnasts in other events! Carlos Yuloh, for example (apologies if the spelling is incorrect). he's a FANTASTIC male gymnast. there may have been others too!

Not every gymnast wants their legs exposed or their leotard riding up their butt cheeks. I love their uniform 🤷🏽♀️

they're athletes, not pieces of meat for you to stare at. no one cares what you think about their uniforms.

@@erinjohnson1124real talk, I always feel cold whenever I look at women gymnasts lol I know they're warmed up and dressed appropriately for the temperature and their events but most leos show a lot of skin and I've been in big arenas, they're not super warm places lol
