I totally agree with you on Creative Grids rulers. The grippy dots are great. They are expensive but you get what you pay for.

I love love that little ruler. That works come in handy for so many projects.

I just found you and really love your style of teaching. I’m a very basic sewer but really want to get into quilting. Never made one before. Do you have a good recommendation for a sewing machine that’s good quality but for someone just starting out? Or is there a video for beginner quilting? Thanks!!! ❤

The fabric and the thread

I'm interested in what you think about these fork pins. I got some fork pins from a different brand and I was disappointed in them. They were dull. It was hard to get them to go through One layer of Free Spirit and one layer Kona cotton. I was planning to use them to hold the seam in place instead of using two straight pins that may or may not shift. But so disappointed in the forked pins I had purchased. I wondered if I just got a bad box?

Is that the same kind of thread that was in last month's box? I loved this months box!
