Z71 especially in black is an awesome looking truck. Just wish you could get adaptive cruise in the Tahoe/Suburban in lower trims. Have to step up to premier or high country to get that basic feature.

I believe they added it to the RST for 2023 as an option, not sure about the other trims

I actually just picked the 2023 Z71 Tahoe with the same base package and I’m happy with it. To find one without all the bells and whistles was hard. I’ll be going to Mammoth mountain for the snow season in Southern California. Going off road was for 30 year’s ago, but I’m done with that. It drives great 👍🏽

The dash cubby is the sunglasses holder since the ceiling drop-down is no longer there

I opted to add the luxury package so we could get bucket seats second row.

A Suburban Z71 with the 6.6 Duramax diesel V8 would have been a real offroad beast.

Does this Suburban with the Z71 package not come with rear locking diffs?

It's a shame the 3.0L LM2 duramax diesel is not available with this Z71 trim. Hopefully they fix that in 2024 with the new LZ0.

I am currently attempting to repair an 06 z71 brake system. I'd much rather hit both thumps with a hammer. What a mess. Finding information on the JL4 as well as the ABS is terrible. Getting to the Control module is awful, replacing the rear brake lines is double awful. I personally would avoid the vehicle if it has the JL4 system.

The car looks really sharp looking out nice😅

I just love ❤️ the Tahoe and the Suburban for wht they offer and just a FYI the little cubby on the side of the entertainment screen is for you sunglasses

That is a bargain price for the size of the vehicle.

Oh my god it comes with a 5.3L or. 6.2L.... the same as everything else they make. They sit on a 650HP motor dying to go into a truck while Ford and Dodge crush them in the Performance truck market. Same. Boring. Stuff. GM makes a reliable truck if what you want is a solid work truck. And if you're into modifying your vehicles the LS motor is a great platform but as far as from the factory performance GM seems to be asleep at the wheel
