BMW X4M did well considering the TRACK HAWK is indeed a very powerful and incredible SUV. X5M is the most ideal vehicle to go against the Jeep GC Track hawk. S58 continues to prove its worth. Trackhawk 570 whp 530 tq the bmw x4m competition 503 whp 516 tq 🤣 bmw X5m competition 555 whp and 570 tq that's why that x4m kept up with the trackhawk it's also a lot lighter as well

As always Sam Great Content. Loved the X4M how it kept up with Track Hawk even though it was at disadvantage of 200 Horses. Dig you know Track Hawk would take it, but I was really surprised at the Roll Race how X4M was able to beat Jeep. Damn BMW does make Performance SUV's. Great Race loved the X4M beautiful SUV.

A bit unfair using the top performance X4Mc and Trackhawk but not the Trofeo.

That bmw with 200 hp less is a beast. I’d still take the bmw over a track hawk. Just a better built vehicle. Even though the keep is a monster.

@@Thekidsinafrica14 Have you ever owned one? I've never owned a Maserati but that's what they said about my Alfa Romeo, as usual, that was just a fallacy based on perception. It's actually been very reliable and has barely cost me a dime. Anecdotally, my previous Toyota Camry had been at the dealership for issues more times than my Alfa.

@@jamesjacko8546 my wife had a Ghibli and I had a quattroporte. There’s a reason these vehicles are so cheap used and depreciate faster than you can count. If they were reliable they’d hold their value. I had first hand experience. How many miles yours has? Mine was around the 40k mile range before it started being a pain.

@@Thekidsinafrica14 I am at 50K, zero issues. I keep up with maintenance. Many in my FB group are over 80K with zero issues. I agree with you that on average, a Maserati may have more issues than another brand, but as with all reliability metrics, it's just an average based on a large data set. You also have to remember that most perceived "unreliable" cars are generally those that are low production, which means issues affect the averages more directly, unlike high production brands that kind wash out with consistent production. Sorry for being so nerdy, analytical, it's what I do for a living.

@MC MC ls bigass v8 with astronomical consumption and has way more issues than a s58. Plus s58 comes apriori much stronger than LS. You have to supercharge LS and do way more modification to it to let it run just like "regular" s58 on stage 1 or stage 2 tune without any modifications. You can easily get 720-750hp and almost a 1000nm out of a s58 with a decent stage2 tune.

@@lorsamadey2435 lol X4m 15/20 and 17 combined.....i can get 29mpg from a C5z06 on a run !! Stop talking nonsense! All LS are underated, its very hard to pull high hp numbers from a N/A V8, naturally torquey, mine pulled over 450hp on dyno, its set for power, longevity, not highly strung overworked engines. Stage 1 or 2, it has a turbos!! So bit of a ridiculous example, N/A vs foced induction. Your talking aftermarket figures, with no emission regs, (which BMW have broken) like at factory set, a tune on a c6Z for example is around 760hp/720lbft at dyno torque in uk, before a pulley swap, exhaust, headers etc its a lighter car BMW have one of the industries highest warranty claims at factory !!

X4m is a silent assassin the end

Stock for stock the x4m comp is 4 tenths quicker and 4 mph faster in the quarter mile. That track hawk might be tuned lol.

The track is a monster!! Incredible!! The looks go with the sound, the bmw is very powerful with 200 less HP, Awesome how it kept up with the Track Hawk, that BMW is Amazing!!

You should do the amg glc 63s coupé vs the BMW x4 m coupe next… all the numbers are neck and neck … race would be brilliant and close on digs and rolls

First off as always great content and video footage 👍 Amazing how the BMW is down 200 hp and is lighter by 800 lbs but manages to stay with a TrackHawk pretty much all races and beat it in a couple. I have thought for along time BMW fudges their hp numbers. Seem to always underrate the HP numbers. The TrackHawk smashes the BMW In torque to. I guess that weight difference really helps the BMW. Out of all three , the TrackHawk looks the best in my opinion.

If this is how close X4M is to Track hawk, then trackhawk has absolutely nothing for the X6M

As an X4M competition owner, it irks my nerve when people say "should have raced an X5/6m for it to be fair, they would have smoked the trackhawk". Uh nooo?? Dafuck? Nobody seems to have any idea that the x3/4m competition are the SAME amount of fast as the x5/6m competition. They all get 0-60 in 3.4ish seconds. They all do the 1/4 in 11.5-6ish seconds. They all are limited at 177mph. So what exactly tf are any of y'all talking about? "This isn't even bmws fastest SUV". Uh, it definitely is. Because their fastest is tied between the lighter inline 6 x3/4m and their heavier V8 X5/6m 🤦🏾‍♂️ y'all need to learn to respect the x4m. Shit is punching two cylinders up with no fucking issue. PERIOD.

It's a clown show. They don't launch properly half the time. The videos are lifeless. The Sam guy is cringe AF. So I doubt I'll look at any old content from them.

@Catholic Firefighter sure you can upgrade the trackhawk 😐 but for the price of a measly 3k, that Bimmer is gaining 300hp. It's 3k just for long tube headers and an install on a trackhawk 😐 and that's NOT including a tune. It's a no brainer which is the better buy. And let's not even get into better handling when you wanna go fast in something that an SUV. X4M handles like a car. Ask me how I know.

@Catholic Firefighter you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about so I won't entertain this conversation. I am versed in Mopar. Owned a jeep SRT for years. Was in and out of demon performance who is one of the top shops for trackhawks. A simple tune is not enough to net those same gains. It costs just to unlock the damn pcm 🤦🏾‍♂️ what it costs to actually TUNE the BMW. There's no suspension on the market that will have the trackhawk handling like the x4m. You sound just plain DUMB. Upgrading control arms, camber kit and sway bar and putting lowering springs or coilovers ain't gonna cut it 🤦🏾‍♂️

The Maserati was like a Ford Fusion trying to race an M4 and a Charger Hellcat. It definitely wasn’t designed for grunt off the line like the Trackhawk and X4M.

That X4m is no slouch, considering that it still has 2 older brothers the size of the Trachhawk

The German shows against the American, that you not need over 700 HP to be fast or faster with 200 HP less.

Yes, Just finished 5000KM Break in, Car only had 6000 KM the race day.

Seen a bmw out the showroom rolling road tested was 539hp and 528ft lbs its no wonder they surprise people when there that much actual power coming out of them

Cars I own: 2019 mustang 5.0 pp1 2019 raptor supercrew 2021 jeep Trackhawk I literally had to buy a battery the other day because it’s been so long that I have driven my 5.0. I only have it since it’s my bucket. If I have to drop off the other cars for service, I use the 5.0. If you can afford to get into a Trackhawk, I highly recommend it. I’ve never loved a vehicle this much. Holy shit. It’s too much fun. The v8 sound is amazing especially since I added the borla atak catback. My 5.0 actually sounds better which is crazy. The supercharger whine on the Trackhawk is fuckin sick. The combo of the two is just nice. Dig race monster. Can’t tell you how many cars I’ve beat from a dig or low mph roll race: a bunch of hellcats, m3, m4, etc. the space inside is perfect. I fuck a lot of bitches in it and it’s held up well. The look, sick. Reliability is great. I’ve put 18k miles on mine and I got it brand new. Only have had to do a ton of oil changes. The computer tells u when u need an oil change based off use. I have to get mine done at 2-3k. Tells you how hard I drive it. I use it how it’s meant. I paid 4k markup for mine and at the time I was not happy about that. But I’m happy I got one. I’m never selling it. I have plans of rebuilding engine when I blow this one. It’s my forever car. That’s how sick it is.
