👋 In todays video we take a look at the 2023 BMW 228i Gran Coupe! This is a very cool and sporty sedan from BMW that I would call the the entry level or base model for a BMW! This particular 2023 BMW has the M sport package which I think is a must and puts this car right at the average price for a brand new car! So if you want something with some performance and handling characteristics and you want a BMW, this is a perfect option! This 2023 BMW 228i Gran Coupe is finished off in black with the magma red leather interior which gives it a great look! The exterior isn't too flashy but has some great designs up front and more simple lines for the rest of the car! This interior is what you would expect for a BMW, it has nice materials for the money and a lot of technology features! This 2023 BMW 228i still has the "older" screen setup so hopefully the next model year will have the larger setup, but it's still easy to go through and provides you with what you need! This is on the smaller side for the sedan lineup from BMW, so while it has back seats, they are a bit tight, but definitely usable! If you aren't looking for a large sedan, but still want practicality, it's a great option!
The driving experience for this 2023 BMW is nice! The turbo engine is peppy and smooth in the accelerations! I love how comfortable the car is to drive, being a BMW that's what it should offer! Even though it is front wheel drive, it handles well around turns and would make for a great daily driver! If you want a "cheap" BMW, the 2023 BMW 228i Gran Coupe is the perfect blend between affordability and having a BMW!

This car is really underrated. Lot of unnecessary hate out there. Most people bash it for being fwd without even driving it. It’s actually a fun little car to toss around and super agile and nimble. I enjoyed driving it. The 3 Series is a boat.

Go for the M model ! It drives a thousand times better and much faster! There’s honestly a huge difference. I have a 2023 M235i gran coupe and it’s way better.
I have the 2020 228i Gran Coupe and love

This BMW is my daily driver, comfortable, safe and economic on fuel. During the weekends a take my Porsche for a fun drive. Best of both worlds.

Yeah it's cool to get the BMW aspect for the same money
I had the M235i Gran Coupe for a week while my M340i was being worked on. I wasn't a fan. It felt like an angry chihuahua; lots of bark, super eager, but ultimately fails to deliver. It was quick, but the engine was super peaky, like an on/off switch. The suspension was too firm and the ride too busy IMO. Maybe the M340i just spoiled me lol.

I wish it had 50/50 weight distribution like my 350z and previous BMW x2, but apart from that clunky & lurching braking from 10-0 mph and accelerating from 0-10 mph b/c of it's FWD 58/42 weight, it is otherwise super fun to drive, very comfortable, practical (cargo and fuel wise), and overall solid as my current daily driver.

Yeah this is a pretty compact car. The new X1 is actually pretty nice. Compact but roomy for a small crossover

@Bros FOURR Speed Yeah! I saw the new design language of the X1. It's more robust. My dream BMW SUV is the X5 M50i. It's the Goldilock. Not too big and not too small. It's just right.
Why is only one side of the exhaust firing at 6min in?

That’s normal mode, sport mode activates both sides which I guess I didn’t hit it right to show that.
Has the typical BMW high quality but that stubby look I just cannot get past. CLA 250 or A3 over this every time for me. Great review!

I’ve had a 2022 Audi A3 and it was great but I’ve changed to this exact car and I can say it’s a much better car all round

Hello everyone, It all depends on a personal taste IMO. I had an opportunity to test drive those 3 in just 2 days. I liked A3 quite a lot but despite having a nice interior CLA didn't touch my feelings at all. In 228i it was totally different experience. Love it! The best of it is, that It should't "point anyone in the eye" unless you want to show off to your neighbors. I think it's a nice, modest car that offers more than its appearance might suggest, and that's why I bought it. Not everyone needs a limo for everyday use. Let's be tolerant. Greetings to everyone👍🙂🏎
The BMW 2-Series Gran Coupe is back! The only downside is: BMW Malaysia only offers the 218i Gran Coupe with a small 1.5L turbo inline-3 unit.

@@kizo172 Toyota partnered with bmw..Since when is that a bad thing? And it’s a very similar price with similar features, they are cars that could be cross shopped because of the price. Some people may not even realize that you could be in a bmw for the same price as something else.

@@kizo172 They didn’t buy anything from bmw, where did you get that from? They partnered with bmw, so yes the interior is mostly bmw, since when is bmw a bad thing? The Supra is an amazing car and if you haven’t driven it, you wouldn’t know that.
