Have you made adjustments to your Mavic or Mini drone?

As of today, I have not adjusted my Mavic 3. I’ll definitely do it today if the dam wind slows down a bit. I like to get close to my subjects thus my apprehension to fly. Wind has been no joke the last couple of days.

Only a few. I mostly changed the control settings for the yaw rates etc. out of the box on the dji mini 2 they were very abrupt which made it hard to get smooth turning shots. #stayepic

Nope. I learn to fly a drone as is... I just practice a lot. I hate slowing down the gimbal because I just might want it fast later. To each their own though.

I’m trying out your suggested settings on my Mavic 3 Classic, today. I was looking for a way to slow this beast down, and I think your setup will work nicely. The difference in response with, both, the Mavic, and Mini, 3s are much faster than their predecessors. I never needed a way to slow down any of the earlier models, any further than simply setting them to Tripod Mode, but, the newer models need a little TLC. Now, I just need settings for the Mini 3. Thanks for simplifying the process. I’ll let you know how it goes.

Took me a year to finally tweak the settings. I’ve always done so in the past with previous drones and it makes a big difference if you are meticulous about your video shots.

Wished I had a Mavic 3, lol. Nice tutorial, I've noticed that after some of the updates all the settings have to be adjusted again. Thanks for sharing your expertise Eddie

Thanks for this Eddie, not too many drone pilots share this or seem to have appreciation for. I will first work on the Cine settings based on how i fly then will go to Normal mode. I need my horizontal speed to be slower than 33mph and pitch sensitivity low.

Yooo! Excellent setting information. I know a lot of drone pilots will find it useful. I remember when I first started adjusting my setting on my Phantom 4. That changed my whole flow 🤩. Love it. What you see is what you get. I like the fact that if you stumble a bit while collecting your thoughts during narrating, there’s no retakes trying to perfect for everyone. Real life situation and real life conversation. Also I’ve been playing with my EXPO for a good minute and still can’t get the stick movement the way I want it. Gonna try your settings. I'll say this, you gave the fundamentals to what needs to be adjusted and hopefully folks that's watching will get a know. Meaning will understand what the settings represents and they can go in and fine tune those adjustments for their own style of flight. Great work. Great video and recommendations. Great advice on getting used to, when I first changed these settings on my drone, it took sole getting used to as the reaction time on the drone while flying changed quite a bit. Thanks again. By the way, where was that location if you don’t mind sharing, looked awesome 🤙

I'd be curious to know what shutter speed do you use for 120fps? Do you keep it at 240 ? And for 60p shots, do you get best result a 120 ? Thanks!

Yes, double my frame rate.

I have the Mavic 3 cine and I cant figure out how to set my 4k 120. I literally just got it today. Do I have to update the firmware or what? Its only giving me options to go up to 4k 60...send help.

So after at least 5 minutes of talking, you finally started to show some valuable content. May I suggest that you rehearse a few times a cut down your video to just the valuable content. After more than 10 mins you start talking about cinematic shooting but you do not delve into it. I was expecting much more. Sorry.
