The Australian Defence Force Combat Ration 1 Man (CR1M) is designed to provide a soldier with the energy and nutrients they need for a 24 hour period and the average ration pack contains just over 3800 calories.

You must be a subscriber, like and comment on this video by 5pm Sydney Local Time on Monday 27 November 2023 to get an entry in the draw (valid entry). Only one entry per subscriber. You must be 18 years or older or have your parents' permission to enter and provide your address if you are the winner.
The prize is a Menu H Australian Defence Force Combat Ration One Man that was packed in June 2022.
All valid entries will be entered into randomgenerator.com which will randomly select the winner and this will be done just after 5pm on Monday 27 November 2023. The winner will be announced on the community page of this KZread channel on the same day. The winner will be identified by their KZread user name only.
The winner will need to provide me with their name and postal address within 30 days of the draw so I can send the ration pack. I will ship the ration pack at no cost to the winner, however if your local customs services require you to pay duty on this item, you are responsible for paying any duty on it. I will only use the winners name and address for shipping purposes, not for any other purpose and it will not be shared with anyone else.
The ration pack contains matches, which cannot be sent by air, so these will be removed from the ration pack if it is not practicable to ship it you by land. I will reseal the pack once the matches are removed.
The nominal value of the ration pack is $50 Australian Dollars, if you win the prize, it cannot be exchanged for the nominal value in cash.
You won’t be eligible to enter the competition if you live in Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Afghanistan, Dominica, Fiji, French Guiana, French Polynesia, Guadeloupe, Haiti, Honduras, Libya, Martinique, Nicaragua, New Caledonia, Papua New Guinea, Réunion, Samoa, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, Yemen, Crimea, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Syria - this is because the shipping service I will be using can’t deliver to those countries or they are an embargoed country. I may not be able to send to other countries if that list changes between now and when the winner is drawn.
ADF ration packs cannot be bought or sold. I have not purchased this item, nor will I ever sell a ration pack, and if you are the winner you are requested not to sell it.
Another winner will be drawn if the winner does not contact me at southfarm02@duck.com within 30 days to provide their address, or if any of the above terms are not complied with. If another winner is drawn this will be announced on the community page of this channel.

We didn't get beef stew in the British packs till around the mid 90's when the boil in the bag stuff was around. Before that we had a canned beef casserole that would have been similar and babies head's, Steak and Kidney pudding in cans, loved them!

I saw an Aussie meal, all it took, new subscriber. USA, state of KY. I have tried 1 CR1M here. They are just so expensive state side friend. I will check out other reviews next. Any 24 Hr. ration, is awesome. Aussie , German, British, French my favorites. Always plenty of leftovers for snacks. Those FRED'S are hard on the thumb. I have 3, LOL. All components looked good, all meals and snacks. Lamb and tomato held my interest the most. P.S., LOL, I just show my bloopers as I go. No need to edit. i like a thick mashed potatoe. so when working with the instant mash potatoe mixes, i use .75% of the reccommend water amount.. another dish to do with the mash potatoe is, make it thick. make it into a patty. fry each patty until golden brown on each side an heated thru. my moom did this with the left over mashed potatoes. season with salt & pepper. have you every made field fudge? take the chocolate bar & sweetnd milk, melt the chocolate, mix in the milk, let cool & setup. also known as mircowave fudge. enjoy

Thanks for the support. In the field getting the mashed potato right can sometimes be a little tricky in terms of measuring out the recommended amount and getting it to the desired thickness. I've not tried the field fudge, it might be one to try in the cooler months in terms of doing it in a field environment.

I'm an ex digger and the only ration packs(rat pack) was luncheon meat. I would've loved to eat food like this when I was out bush.

It's because most of the contents are ready to eat vs other more compact ration packs that contain more dehydrated food which requires water to be added. Also, the contents can cover more than 24 hours depending on one's physical exertion.

Hi mate, I wish I could help, but there are a lot of people wanting these and the only fair way I can give them to others to try is via a giveaway where I draw the winner randomly. I don't have a stockpile of these either, just the odd spare that have not been used by me, after they were issued to me. A few people have proposed ration pack swaps so I can try the rations of other countries, but there are practical challenges with that too and I will probably just focus on the Australian ration pack reviews in the future.
