    Nicely done. Kudos. Homer offers many dining options for its size on the Kenai Peninsula. Cool four legged family members you have too. Try wetting a line in the Ninilchik and/or Deep Creek on your next visit en route to Homer, depending on the timing of your travels.

    Hello, just something to consider on your way back, take the top of the world highway to Dawson City, the ferry at Dawson City across the Yukon river is free. On the other side of Whitehorse, take a detour to Carcross and visit the world's smallest desert.

    @@OurFulltimeAdventure it's actually my cousin's place he's just getting open this spring after five years of building it, I build the woodworking merch on his website as well. It's a beautiful place worth visiting. As well as meeting the kilchers! Great people what you see on discovery is genuinely what you get!

    The city is working at charging for more parking on the spit, so not sure how long spots like this will be available in the summer. It's really too bad.

    Ha Ha those are some noisy neighbours you've got there. Our dogs would have gone crazy wanting to chase them. Hopefully they quieted down over night. Have the forest fires in the Yukon, North West Territories and northern BC impacted the air in Alaska? It still looks pretty clear in your video.

    Yes very noisy hahah! We sleep with a fan so once that was on we didn’t notice much :) thankfully the fires have not affected this area.

    In the summer of 2018 stayed out on the Homer Spit in Rv. Went via boat to Seldovia for a day. Worth it if you have the time. Hated to leave this area of Alaska.

    @@OurFulltimeAdventure The homes on the slough were unique. Made you want to live there. Small village, a few shops, a couple of restaurants. Small airport on the outskirts of town. We visited Skagway and the drive to Haines was beautiful.

    Hi guys, thanks for the great, inspiring videos. I have a question about your gear. What's the payload of you F-250 and how heavy is the Cirrus 820? We are looking to get Cirrus 820 to get it onto our Chevy Silverado 2500HD. What's your suspension setup? Thank you for answering!

  • @OurFulltimeAdventure

    @OurFulltimeAdventure

    Hey! That’s a great question! We have upgraded suspension all around with added leafs in the rear. The f-250 and f-350 SRW are almost identical besides the leafs and door sticker. If you join the cirrus group on FB, you can most likely get a ton of insight on the best suspension upgrades for your truck to work well with a cirrus 820!

    A lady helped bring back the population of eagles by throwing fish heads from her fish factory job. There in homer. She did it for years on the spot. When she passed others did it. No statue in sight in homer to sad. But she loved the eagles.

    How long are the sunsets if the sun doesn’t actually set??

  • @OurFulltimeAdventure

    As we get closer to winter the sunsets are earlier. In Fairbanks when we first got here the sunset was well after 1AM and came up just a few hours later. It didn’t really get dark. Here the sun has been setting around 10:30PM and coming up around 6AM :)
