We are Grayson & Ashleigh! In 2020, we left our jobs and sold our possessions to travel for a year and find a home somewhere besides our home state.
Over 2.5 years later, we’ve had 5 campers and have downsized tremendously from a 5th wheel to a truck camper.
Following along as we live a life full of adventure and share our realities and destinations with you.

Congratulations on your new truck camper.
that see-through bathroom door is a show-stopper for me. Is that a "European design" element?
It’s not too see-through but it is very pretty!
Looks like your old setup was better, it get better fuel mileage and gets the job done.
it’s easy to think that until you watch this weeks video. We were overweight + lacking storage for a couple that’s full-time in a truck camper. Better MPG is “nice” but when it’s at the cost of living comfortably on the road I’d rather get 8.5mpg.
Buena Vista is a cool little town. Love the hot springs there. Enjoy it.
It is so awesome! Thank you 😊
Drink every time he says “super”
cheers! 🍻
As an Alaskan resident, i'mma have to disagree. Homer is a nice town if your goal is sea fishing and good Halibut and other seafood, but when it comes to best small towns in Alaska that is acessible it's Seward by a long shot.
Seward is also great! We honestly loved all of the Alaskan towns in different ways 🫶🏻
If you change the AC unit cover to a white cover, it would be more efficient, keeping it cooler more easily and using less power. Just a tip.
Great tip! Thanks for the advice :)
Just so you know it’s 100 percent legal to park in any San Diego street as long as it is San Diego not like Coronado or Another city within the county. Also all areas owned by the forestry commission are free to camp at as long as you clean up after your self. No need to stealth camp here. The ordinance is good until at least 2027. It went into effect in late last year 2023. kzread.info/dash/bejne/qYN3yZSilMi-fco.htmlsi=aSrSca7P96IYGlFE
We will look into that! Thanks for info :)
Wow, what a killer hike!!
It really was! But soo awesome 👏🏻
Thanks for the tour . I like your camper, it has too many storage.😊
You are welcome! Yes so much storage! We love it :)
Super!!!
Thank you! We love it!
It’s not sad to see a fire that’s as part of the natural process that we try to suppress for whatever reason. It is sad to see infrastructure set up around risk areas that put people in harms way.
Congrats! NuCamp installed the standard lithium upgrade for you? How are your dogs in the heat? I have a golden who is very heat, are you able to run the ac for any length of time off grid? 5 100 amp hour batteries? Thanks!
They did install the lithium upgrade. It’s 600ah of Battleborn. The dogs do alright in the heat. We do our best to chase good weather. I’m sure we can run the AC but we haven’t tried to test the runtime yet!
I have to say I love the cirrus 820. I will be looking to buy a truck camper real soon. Can you run your AC on the solar ? because living in South Florida AC is a lifesaver. I wonder if you could get a generator put in it that would help out a lot. also, I have to say I love the way you have that camper set up.👍👍
We love the 820! We can run our AC but definitely recommend a soft start. You can probably mount a generator on a front or rear cargo rack to make that work out!
Thank you For that information. I love the cirrus truck campers, but I wasn’t sure if the AC would work on the solar power alone or that I might have to plug it into shore power or a generator. thank you again and have lots of fun with your new truck camper.
Curious, that’s a lot of truck for such a small camper. Why that combo?
We will be answering that question in a video soon!
Fantastic tour! We’re thrilled to see the incredible adventures you'll embark on with your nuCamp Cirrus 820. Thank you for partnering with us! We're excited to collaborate with someone who shares our core values and passion for adventure.
Thank you! We are so excited to be ambassadors for a brand we absolutely love. 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
Lindo parabéns.
Thank you so much!
I got the 2024 920 on a F450 long-bed and am loving it!
That’s awesome! Love that! Enjoy it!
Once going to US i got seach for radio active ,now that freak me out took about 2 hrs and it was a bad reading so hey
Oh my gosh that’s so annoying 😫
I love the Nucamp teardrop 360. I love the metal baskets near the stove. So many of my command hooks keep falling off, I've been discouraged. Excited to see you adventures.
The new 360 is so cool! Where are you command hooks falling off? A little superglue on the backside goes a long way! Thank you for following along!
Smart!!! Superglue!!! The biggest issues is the bathroom and kitchen. Thinking it's the steam and humidity. I'm adding Superglue.
New set up looks great!
Thank you! It’s a work in progress but we love it!
@@OurFulltimeAdventure What size exactly are the tires? I am curious.
Why would you upgrade from an F450 when the truck you had seemed more than capable of handling 820#?
We had an F250 and being that we are Fulltime, we were a bit over GVWR on the 250. Stay tuned for a comparison video
Get some three or five pound descant bags and put in the external storage to keep the moisture down. You can put them in an oven at 175-200F for about 45-60 minutes per side and dry them out and reuse them or however the instructions say.
That’s an awesome idea! We’re going to look into it. Thank you so much!
@@OurFulltimeAdventure IF humidity becomes a problem you can find electric units that are used in gun safes to control humidity.
Can you open the skylight over the bed and climb out
Yes! It is an emergency exit.
Very nice truck camper 😊😊😊❤❤❤
Thank you so much! We love it!
Your awnings are Bluetooth and operate with a phone app.
Yup! They’re amazing!
Congratulations with the partnership with nucamp! When my husband and I can afford it- they are the only company we want to purchase from because I have yet to hear anybody complaining or regretting their choice with going with them
Thank you! We can’t wait to see another nuCamp on the road! The nuCamp family over there in Ohio are the nicest people we’ve ever met in this industry!
I love this camper. My only criticism is that it seems like there's almost no counterspace. If this were mine I would have a cutting board made that fits perfectly over the cooktop so I don't crack it when I inevitably use it for prep and/or another one that covers half the sink.
It’s an epic rig! We have some plans for something like that! Stay tuned! The normal 820, not fully electric like ours, has significantly more counter space!
Are you eventually close in the area where a truck box wall would be, never seems to be enough storage.
Time will tell. Stay tuned!
Great video. We just looked at the 820 at NuCamp. We have a T@b 400. Careful with the reflective in the windows. It will melt the window. There is a warning on our T@b windows which are the same in the 820
Thank you! We love our 820. We love our 2017 and now our 2024 even more! We’ve had the REFLECTIX in the 2017 for 3 years without issue. I’ve seen the warning but boy does the REFLECTIX make a huge difference.
Congratulations on the Ambassadorship!! Rig looks great! I'm very interested in how you go about getting rid of the propane. I'm assuming NuCamp did the modifications.
Thank you! Removing the propane is fairly easy actually. We did it on our last 820 but this one was done a bit different being that it’s only electric which is super nice. Our 2017 820 has diesel heating
@@OurFulltimeAdventure maybe you could do a video about that in the future?
That storage doesn’t have a lock.! Somebody’s might steal your dirty laundry! 😂😂
Ahahah hopefully they clean the clothes and bring them back 🤪
Great set up. Absolutely love this camper.
Thank you! We love it!
I've been looking to have the same set up with the flat bed and a Cirrus but I would like the 920 because I need a bigger fridge, I like the dry bath and not having propane. The problem is that dealers seem to be playing around with the price making it very expensive. I also need a truck and need to stay within my budget so I hope to get the 920 at some point but I'll start with the truck. Enjoy your new set up guys.
That would be awesome! There is a dealer in CO selling a 920 for $76,000. That seems to be a fair price point!
Thanks for the tip.
$76,000...??????are you kidding me? Have you looked at Northern Lite?
I’ve seen the northern lites. The 8-11 goes for like 69k with little to no solar let alone lithium. I think that camper for 76k is priced right. Just to confirm, we’re chatting about the 920 and not the 820 right?
Yes, I am looking at the 920 because I do not want propane and prefer the dry bath. I am also not a campground person and so I need it to be fully off-grid. After my experience and checking around Cirrus came on top, and if I purchase something less costly I would still have to add an average of $6K to $10K in a solar package and lithium. Plus, Cirrus has the Alde system which I prefer.
Awesome video. Congrats
Thank you so much! We appreciate the kind words!
What is the trucks Axle ratio
The trucks gear ratio is 4.88 I’m pretty sure
What's up with the space in front of camper? Looks very odd, storage?
Time will tell!
When are you guys going to put storage boxes on the side ?
Stay tuned! Having some built we think. The camper is narrow compared to other brands so it’s a custom job
No propane...how to you heat the camper...electric heater? Also cooking...Induction cook top? Amazing set up!
We have the Alde system and it runs fully on electric like the new nuCamp Cirrus 920. The cooktop is induction!
Excellent ideas. Thanks for sharing.
You are welcome! We are glad you found it helpful!
Loved the video, the bit by bit moving. And cherry on the cake, the thunderstorm, the rainy vibes, I know it had put a halt in moving, sorry for that. Would really love the full tour, waiting already. Keep up! God bless you!
Thank you we appreciate the kind words! Tour coming tomorrow! Can’t wait to share it 🫶🏻
Not sure if you still travel in your truck camper with your kitty, but I would love to hear more about things like the litter box set up, where/how you fed the kitty, etc from when you did have the cat along with. Thank you!!
We did have our sweet Kitty with us for the first few years on the road. Unfortunately she passed in 2023. We did a cat door on our bathroom door and had her litter box in there. This camper we would’ve added a cat door under the dinette and put her litter box under there but unfortunately she isn’t with us anymore.
Aw, sad to hear about Kitty passing! But thank you for responding, I really enjoy your content
Yes we miss her everyday! Thanks for watching! We appreciate your kind words :)
Do you think the very long hike to Upper Reed Lake was really worth it compared to the views you got after such a short hike like April Bowl?
Honestly yes! Such a muddy trip with the rain but soooo worth it
We put heavy stuff in the floor while driving to keep the center of gravity low. It’s a tip from truck camper people. Have you subscribed to truck camper magazine on line?
Such a good idea! We love truck camper magazine!
Just out of curiosity what camera/setup did you use to record your video? Love the editing and overall vid.
Hi! Thank you so much. This video we filmed mainly on our EOSr6 Mark 2! You can shop our favorites in the description where our Amazon lists are!
@@OurFulltimeAdventure Sweet.... thanks. Will do : )
That's a massive truck and camper. How high is it?
It’s a big one! Total height is around 12 feet 5 inches give or take!
The RV dealership should have drained the antifreeze and ran water through it to make sure there were no leaks and everything worked.
We got it straight from the manufacturer. Rig has been gone through a few times before we picked it up!
@@OurFulltimeAdventurethe manufacturer should have done it for/ with you so you know the drill with this camper.
They do have videos available on KZread which made it fairly easy to get done!
Omg the toe drink tho 😂😱😵💫
I knowww I can’t believe that it’s real 😅
I’m not sure I could live that small full time. It would have to be My Part Time Adventures. 😊
it’s definitely not for everybody but we love it! We do our best to live out of the camper and spend most of our time outside!
Hey into heartless curls- you won’t need the curling iron ever again- and it’s so easy and gentle on the hair
Yes!! I’ve tried them before with socks because I saw someone else do it and I liked how it turned out but I definitely want to get the actual product. Do you have a recommendation?
