Thanks for sharing. Just ordered regular Advance RDX. Reasons I did not to want A-spec? 20" wheels nice, but harsher ride. Red gauges do not work well for people with red/green color blindness. The alcantra/suede is much harder to maintain than just plain leather or non-suede inserts. No spare tire. Added cost.

What's up YT Fam!? In today's video we go over what I consider the forgotten trim of the RDX, the Advance. This SUV has everything anyone wants but with the chrome outside, & wood trim inside, this model doesn't appeal to the RDX buyer the way the A-Spec, Advance version does. People like the black out look that the A-Spec provides and now with the available A-Spec, Advance, our customer's are spending a little extra for the appearance of the A-Spec with the luxury of the Advnace. Honestly, I would go for the A-Spec, Advance myself. The price difference is not great enough to deter the step up. What do you think? Would you drive the "regular" Advance?

There are so many features in the RDX ADVANCE that I honestly like like Ambient Lighting, Rear heated seats and HUD which are my favorites. However, I'm a bit more curious as to how the headlights function at night--particularly the high beams. I've stated before how the high beams on the 2016 RDX really suck in how they don't give much brightness to very dark roads. So I'm definitely wondering if Acura has made improvements on that area. Also, HKN, you are 100% correct about the wheels on the ADVANCE trim. When I saw them on an Acura website, I fell in love with those moreso than the dark wheels on the A-SPEC. I think Acura made much more improvements on the RDX. But I feel in order to really appreciate the gist and feel of this vehicle, stretch your bucks up to the Advance trim(if you can). Thank my guy. The headlights are very bright on the 2019 models and up. To get IIHS Top Safety Pick+, you have to have headlights that pass their most extreme distance and width tests both low & high beam. Believe it or not, there are still a bunch of cars that still don’t meet IIHS Top Safety Pick+ solely because of weak headlights. So the new lights are a huge improvement.

@@HKN_RealReviews Cool Beans! Thanks for the response and update about the high beams. I'll most likely head to a nearby dealership and check one out. I like the Red exterior with the beige interior. I haven't owned a red-colored car since I had a 1985 Nissan 200SX

No touch screen is a downer as well as the disappointing gas milage on required premium fuel. However I checked the competition and I liked the RDX the best. Hard to find an Advance model in NJ.

Premium isn’t required, it’s recommended. The gas mileage isn’t the best but can be improved with a tune while also gaining power. The gas rating goes like this…87 minimum(required), 91 (recommended). There was a time when Acura’s were required to run on premium but that is no longer the case.

Much nicer rims on the 2022+ advance package. The 2019-2021 advance package had horrendous rims. The technology package had much nicer rims. The rims on the 22+ advance are very very nice and give the advance package a distinct look
