I bought one today. I'm an obsessive researcher and was moments away from buying a Lexus NX350, then an infiniti QX50, QX55, QX60, QX50S, Mazda CX5, Lincoln Corsair and even a fully loaded Kia Sorento Prestige but my research always revealed a worry. Acura was barely on my list until a gearhead convinced me to test drive it. I fell in love and it crossed off all the boxes. More power than any in its class. Best torque, all the tech, panoramic roof, proven engine and no CVT transmission. Add in, that it's cheaper and it's a Honda brand, and it's a no brainer. Extended warranty to 10/130k for another 3500 and I'll be driving this 10 years from now.

This has the Advance package with A-spec package … Acura also has one without the Advance package still with A-spec about roughly $4k lower in price. With AWD

Most reviewers bash the track pad and say a touch screen is better. But I have an Acura and you get used to the track pad very quickly. I personally prefer reaching down to the track pad more than reaching up to a touch screen...maybe I'm in the minority

i just got one. it doesn’t take long to get used to the track pad. i prefer it, it’s more practical than a touch screen.

People complain about the trackpad, push button shifter, or no touchscreen. I don't like using a touchscreen because of fingerprints and having to reach for it. Acura could solve this one issue by giving the screen touch features AND keep the touchpad.

I was specifically looking for rear vents and heated seats button view for the top trim. You're the only one I found that showed it properly. Even Acura's own website does not show it.

Great review. I have one that will be arriving in a week or two. After this video, I'm really looking forward to it.

Test drove one in early 2022. Love the interior details. Especially the stitching along the doors and dash. I really like the storage area under the console. Finally, a place for my purse (or wallet)! Also has a wireless charging pad under there. Under the cargo mat, you showed the first area for storage, but there is more under the 2nd half. I like the infotainment pad. I'm short and don't like having to lean forward to use screens. Also like that they still have knobs and switches. Backseats were comfy. Disappointed they skipped on ventilated rear seats and climate control. Red seats were too busy for me. Would definitely consider this with black interior. I had an 08 RDX tech and loved it (handed down to daughter and still on the road with +200,000 miles). I skipped the 13-18 2nd gen RDX because it looked like a 2 row MDX. I was going to upgrade to the +19 RDX; but, road noise and low mpgs were were similar to my 08 RDX. I think the later model years does a better job with road noise and I like they put the Aspec+Adv together. Acura just needs to bring back the Sport Hybrid powertrain for the MDX and RDX.

I just got my 2023 RDX A-SPEC with advance package. beautiful car, but I just realized the head up display is not well aligned for my position in the seat sideways. The information to the left of the display is distorted and I have to lean to my right to get the right angle to view all the information without distortion, that distortion is causing my eyes to be stressed and I feel a bit dizzy. The controls to adapt the display are not doing anything. I'm taking it back to the dealer. I read in some forums the HUD might need to be replaced, I really hope is not the case, as I would hate the dash needs to be removed, rising scratches. .

Have a 2019 Base AWD and been enjoying it. Kind of wished I spent extra for the ventilated seats which I definitely recommend if you have the extra $$$.

Can you change the speedometer backlight color from red to something else?

Acura needs to bring back the Sport Hybrid powertrain for the RDX. That would give the RDX an extra +60 hp/tq, improved performance/handling, and city/combined/hwy mpgs would be the same. The Sport Hybrid powertrain was only $1500 more MSRP for the 17-20 MDX over a similar 3.5L tech/adv sh-awd model.

This was fun. The RDX is a good value compared to the competition. The shifter does not bother me. Push a button, pull a lever. Just like a slot machine, I don't care.

Great video! I traded in my TLX for a 2023 Acura RDX Advance and A-Spec package in December 2022 and I love it. I thought there would be too much technology, but I'm learning to use it and enjoy it. I also thought the track pad would be cumbersome, but as a prior commenter stated, you get used to it. Exterior color I chose is liquid carbon and I opted for black interior with the red stitching, which is very sharp. I wouldn't change a thing. Love my RDX!

There is no pull cover for the sun roof?

Why do these rims look different than the rims on every aspec advance on the lot in CO? Are these standard with this trim?

The only thing form me buying the A Spec are the low profile tires that are pretty much unless in the snow.

Great review but I think you could have been more objective with this vehicle there are lots of more SUV that give you way more bang for your buck. Im still confused at to what is the reason for the 55 grand price tag?? This is basically the same model we've had for nearly 3 years just a few cosmetic change but apart from that that is way too much money

This is an Aspec Advance which is a new top trim for 22. MSRP has gone up some, and you won't get a discount now.

Damn talking about inflation. $55 thousand before tax for a CRV or RDX. Lexus RX 350 or 450 better buy

Top trim Honda CRV sport touring is $40k now, and while getting better mileage, lacks much of the luxury, refinements and power of SHAWD

When you talk trash and doesnt know shit about it, the rdx is super different than a crv hahah saying its the same i have a rdx and a crv and they so different you notice it when you drive it, the rdx is more for comfort and better reaction all overall all good

I don’t know why, but it looks like a minivan to me

Beautiful machine but way underpowered, I’m a v8 guy .

So dated now. Crap fuel economy, old ICE engine, irritating shifter, interior a mess, infuriating trackpad, terrible infotainment system. 👎🏼 Thankfully total redesign on the way with hybrid and EV options for let’s next year. Glad I didn’t buy the old model. 👍

So we paying nearly 60 grand for a vehicle that has a non touch infotainment system non electronic. Steering wheel non digital speedometer cluster????? What the hell is Acura doing and to make matters worse its not even 300 horse power???????? I wanna feel like im driving a luxury car not just look it

I test drove the RDX...it is quick even with 272 horsepower. Its got punch.

4.3 gallons for 100 kms ? Mind freaking.Does this engine gallop those gases.😢
