Only the KHL is blocked, you can watch every VHL and MHL game in HD for free on the leagues youtube channels.

most lists give fowler the edge, curious why you give it to volokhin

I have some concerns over Fowler's size, though he wins wherever he goes, we'll see what happens when he reaches the NHL. I struggle with goalies as it's the only position I never played, I thought Primeau was going to be great after watching almost every game he played at Northeastern but clearly once he got to the pro level things got much more difficult and he wasn't able to have the same kind of success. Fowler had perhaps the best blueline in the NCAA in front of him, but next season at least half of them are gone I believe, so it should be interesting to see how it goes. Volokhin with his size, seems very sound positionally, quick movement, the Habs could have a steal here. Between the two plus Dobes and Primeau, I got to think the Habs have found a future #1 starter that hopefully can get them into playoff contenders again down the road. Cancel Reply

@@harryhood1919 elite prospects has them as a difference of 1 inch/2 cm, though Fowler somehow does look smaller than 6'2". And yeah, goalies are insanely hard to project. Volokhin's stats and play speak volumes, but I really want to see how he handles shooters in the K.

@@rationalactor8695 Fowler doesn't look 6'2 to me but we'll see when he gets to the AHL how it goes.

Volokhin #5 is crazy. Draft +1 playing in MHL. Zavragin was #1 and way better goalie on his team and only graduated to VHL. An argument could be made that he's 4th in our goalie prospect pool behind Fowler, Dobes, and Miller. IMO he's out of the top 20 in our prospect pool.

Zavragin - 21 games, 2.49 gaa, .920 save % Volokhin - 31 games, 2.12 gaa, .927 save % Do those stats suggest he was way better, if he was, why were his stats way better on the same team. As for Miller, I don't see how a case could be made that he's better then Volokhin, I don't see Dobes as better either, he overcommits too much, he's too aggressive in net imo.
