Questions: 1. Why mount it before threading? 2. Does it matter if the racquet is “butt cap up” or not 3. Why no,starting knot on the crosses? 4. Why the 2nd cross, then the first? 5. What tie-off knots are you using?

1. You can pre-thread the mains if you want. Mounting first help identify the center, and pre-threading can have the string get in the way while mounting. 2.does not matter. It is a way of staying consistent. Plus if you get an asymmetrical racquet it will always be mounted the same and strung the same. 3.I just do not like starting knots. I think it looks cleaner to have all finishing knots. 4. Keeps you from pulling 19ft of string across. 5. Parnell knots

Does it matter when you tension that first cross to tie off? I usually finish half the crosses then do that first cross tie off. Thanks!

The yonex site curiously suggests tie offs of mains at 7H and 11T. How does that work? I noted you did yours both at 7H

I found it weird as well. In addition to their written instructions, they also provide an image which suggests that both of the mains tie offs are at 7H

Question: Is it okay to apply knot tension even if it exceeds the specifications that appear on the racket frame?
