    This is the reason we watch & subscribe to Warro. Good genuine bike review with no BS. Can't stand the 'reviews' from a test ride & a plug for their local dealer. An ADV version of the MT03 would definately give Kawasaki & their Versys 300-X a run for their money.

    i think in 017 i bought the versys x300 and its probably near the same power output as this. but a very hard seat on that bike. i did a review clip and the seat was that hard i just cut a square out and put in some gel and cover back on. i certainly got some crap talk for doing that butcher job on a new bike but it worked out . bike only cost $7k and i had bought in that yellow mgf for $25k in black-rubbed it back and sprayed it yellow...lol i dont care there only steel and bolts! yeah i like to keep it honest with the reviews and name the faults. some buy and regardless of issues never call it as they see it. i dont care if there no good...out they go...lol pretty impressed with this unit.runs very nice. got that klx150 for the dirt so im covered there. all the best!

    Ive owned a 2021 and put 2700 miles on it. I love it, super smooth, very fast once broken in. Definitely a break in period for the breaks and engine, rather suddenly the bike became substantially better. Im really having a difficult time to trade up for a new bigger bike and I am not sure I ever will, sometimes I am tempted but im just so satisfied with this for my riding.

    great bike i think now if it wasn't i'd been giving it a good hard workout along those back roads and getting ready to move it on. close look at the clip shows i am around that run-in rev limit of 6000 so i must think its alright. mentioned this in part 2 but i did notice the clutch pull is pretty big compared to my other rides. impressions so far i think one could ride a mt-03 for quite some distance plus its pretty light and easy to move about too

    Lots of people think bigger is better. I must get bigger. But as I read there are many riders that have had bigger & then gone smaller for many reasons. Even myself think I need bigger. I have owned this in a 2022 & I love at present. Light. Flickable. Quick enough off of the lights. I am a new rider &’like you I’ll struggle to get rid of this. If I buy another i don’t think I’ll sell this. She’s a keeper.

    Winter has well and truly arrived here in the UK so I'm only getting virtual ride outs now. I enjoyed that run out. I'm always a bit suspicious of people who borrow a bike to do a review, if they give a bad review they'll probably not get anymore bikes from the dealership. The Himalayan is almost ready for its 300 mile 482km service, that's a job for the Spring. Ride safe mate.

    I think when engines are this small, they could do with being singles. Just my taste. A single I'd quite like is a Kawasaki KLX 300SM. The trouble is, despite them being manufactured in Thailand, they are not available here. You've bought some new bikes, mate. Makes you worth listening to. The MT sounds like it's got a nice, tractable motor. No throttle snatch: a rarity now. I prefer a flat seat. Again, my taste. Back in Portugal, I have the granddaddy of the MT family: the 1670cc MT-01. Excellent, informative video.

  • @richardharmon5682
    @richardharmon5682 Жыл бұрын

    Thanks for that excellent review of the MT-03. You certainly covered a lot of bases. I suspect that most of your minor disappointments were the result of needing to build the bike to a low price. Plus, I wouldn't be surprised that a lot of the money went into the engine, rather than the chassis. But it does seem like a good value. A 6K run-in rpm getting you to 100 kph is a useful speed. I sure wish Yamaha and other manufacturers would do something about those long stop light and rear license plate holders. Why can't they just make them shorter? BTW, you sure were getting passed by the traffic on the highway. lol Looking forward to part 2 of your review.

    yeah the run-in is 6000 or roughly 60 mph. but i varied the speed from 45 to 60. that truck driver in the clip was moving along a bit. pretty silly really as that road runs mobile/stationary speed cameras in several areas. by the time you see them...its too late. here they ping you i think 2 mph over limit. where i live its roughly a population of 40,000 -those speed camera drivers are located on all outward roads. doesnt pay to speed around here. plus they set them up in town too. plus the highway patrol runs the main roads too...lol when i get into it more i plan to put a tail yidy on it and clean up the rear end a bit. switchgear side those indicators are a real pita. really bad feel and i think the cheaper honda cb125 has better hardware...lol

    @@ridewithwarro I sure am glad that we don't have speed cameras that issue speeding tickets in California. And the CHP seems mostly interested in ticketing people going over 100 mph. 10 or 20 mph over the speed limit hardly gets their attention as everyone is going that fast, which is why my Royal Enfield Bullet is not really up to freeway travel for any length of time.

    @@ridewithwarro Good! But around here even when they get their driver's license taken away, many people continue to drive. Sometimes even when they go to court to be fined for speeding - if they even bother to show up. Over the weekend a group of young people blocked off access to the SF Bay Bridge and spent 20 minutes spinning donuts in their cars while several hundred people stood around on the bridge watching them do it. The CHP was stuck in traffic and by the time they got to the scene, the "side show" was over and the spectators were all gone. It is getting crazy around here.

    They all vibrate noticeably in some parts of the rev range right? I just keep my machines in the sweet spot and enjoy. CB500x is really good 60 mph and below...sucks on the interstate but makes up for it by being a very relaxed jewel of a bike for back-road travel. Thanks for the video!

    number one would be my halcyon grey enfield 350. i really like that bike although i was a bit hard on it during those dirt road rides. thankfully no damage during the sessions so all good there. on the dirt i like the little klx150 as i tried several dirt bikes and it was nice and easy to ride in tight spaces and very light in the weight. xmax 300 was the pick of the scooters i had ..well the pick out of 6. there may be better but probably at a better price too. this mt-03 joins them as it appears to be very well made and has the power to run at 100 kph pretty easy. i think i'd have to put the 650 interceptor as my number 5. i had 2 of those and they were silky smooth in the motor nice to ride and very hard to beat for the value content.
