I see you removed the bar end mirrors. How are you liking the conventionals? Would you be keen to sell the factory mirrors?

Yeah much prefer the conventional mirrors over the giant stock bar end mirrors. I generally prefer bar end mirrors over traditional ones but in the case of XSR, I’m finding the traditional ones work better clearance-wise. Not looking to sell the stock ones yet but thanks

@@CyMOTOau I appreciate the reply mate. I have just spent the last 2 days researching new mirrors, i broke the glass trying to figure out how the factory ones come apart. Finding a quality aftermarket barend setup to suit that big M16 threaded bar isn't so easy so far. I think going the traditional mirror route will solve alot of my issues. Merry Xmas

@@kingkire1556 no worries and merry Xmas to you too. If it’s any consolation, I had a pair of aftermarket bar end mirrors prior to the conventional ones I have now. They were CRG arrow lookalikes (you’ll notice them in my other XSR900 videos). Not top tier quality wise but still pretty good in my books. You could try those first if bar end mirrors is your first pref. The ones I had was “New Pair Black Bar End Rear View Side Mirrors For 2003-2016 Kawasaki Z1000 Bikes” from eBay store ishop_au

@@CyMOTOau I searched up those mirrors and for the price they actually look great. Did you have any mounting issues using the inserts they supply considering the handle bars have those threaded ends?

@@kingkire1556 no issues, the inserts are the type that expand as you tighten it in. The only thing I had to do was remove one of two layers that make up the insert. After that it was a sturdy fit. All the best
