I have a black package in the same color. I think it's nice and peppy. A apr stage 2 gives it a nice jump. I haven't tuned mine but I always run 89 or 93 and It's plenty of fast for a 4cyl.

@@keke6894 It's perfect if you want a Jetta. I've had a couple of different trim Jettas and the Gli is amazing. I personally love as a Jetta fan.

I have an aftermarket inlet pipe, silicone tubing, and an apr intake. I feel like mine is faster on acceleration and I never even floor it. I know the mods make it a little faster, but even factory was faster than in your review.
I joined the volkswagen family 2 months ago. The 2022 Jetta GLI is truly a fun car to drive.
Only thing that makes me dislike the GLI is the headlights. Using a single orange bulb instead of integrating the turn signal into the DRLs just makes it feel much cheaper.
Everyone hates on the steering wheel controls. Thought I would hate them. But I don’t. My last jetta had standard buttons and I would accidentally hit those all the time. I actually like the new ones better. Granted, delay on Apple car play is terrible!
Good afternoon Nolan, is Warren Nasson here. Thank you for another great review. Pity we don't get the VW Jetta here in South Africa anymore. i believe they (VW) call it economies of scale. They were built in Uitenhage, in the Eastern Cape province, alongside the Golf models and the fantastic Passat, which was also discontinued-due to limited sales. If Jetta made the equivalent of the Golf R, with boosted power, torque and a four wheel drive system, that would have been something. Anyway, thank you for honest, down to earth, no frills assessment. Your biggest South African fan. Keep it up bro'

What can i say, looks good, a lot of room inside, good build quality, very reliable because it´s a VW, good powertrain with enough HP and good efficiency, very good equipment inside and VW gives you all that for a very fair price.

Great all around car amazing styling and very good price I’d buy this or Mazda 3 turbo in a heartbeat. I was looking for a gli in 2018 but they didn’t come out with a new gen till 2019 but it’s an awesome car. Don’t like the touch capacitive buttons but everything’s either moving there or is there so Ig I can’t really complain on that other than that I like it
