As a XC60 Owner, there’s a lot more to this car than he is mentioning. My husband works accidents and the driver and safety features are awesome! I feel very safe. Many drivers get too close on the 95 Interstate and today my husband did just that and the car told him he was driving too close at the speed he was driving.

My car avoided an accident, almost got T-Boned and the car slammed the brakes on. Apparently they can also accelerate in the same situation to avoid a crash

I love my Volvo XC 90. I’m assuming they added the cloth to the leather because people have complained the leather seams tear after awhile getting in and out of the car. I’ve had my SUV for a couple years and I’m thin so no issues with the leather pulling apart on the driver side. I don’t think I’d like the cloth because it’s hard to clean. Now for cons: These SUV’s don’t have a garage door opener button on the ceiling and no glass holder. I feel having to clip the garbage door opener to the visor makes the SUV look cheap. When a customer is spending $65k we expect these features. These features are pretty standard on other luxury SUV’s. These SUV’s require that you use Brand Name premium gasoline ONLY! Trust me, if you try to put cheap gas in these SUV’s the car will feel sluggish as you drive. Stick to the recommendation.Other than that the SUV drives like a dream and it’s extremely comfortable. FYI….China now owns Volvo which I think is a negative. Just my opinion.

We have an '18 XC90 R Design and the seat does seem to be wearing quite aggressively so I can see why they switched to the cloth on the bolster, I feel as though the light color is going to show up stains and such quite quickly. Ours has the Alcantara seats and they've held up great

We just bought one and the garage door opener is on the mirror just as it is on my Avalon! You can have the homelink mirror installed!

I bought a 2022 xc60 r-design in December 2021 and I have had nothing but an endless stream of software and electronic issues. Even the mechanics shrug their shoulders at these issues as they are not trained to troubleshoot and resolve non-mechanical problems with this vehicle. Caveat emptor!

My biggest problem with the XC60 is when I'm coming up to a junction and I'm slowing down, if there's no traffic coming and I put my foot down there's like a 1-second delay before I get any response. Has that been fixed in the 2022? Looking at your video at 12:20 it seems not, but was interested in your opinion.

I find it quite a challenge to determine when stepping on the accelerator pedal as you get the delayed response as you mentioned and either get too much or too little gas....Too much gas the vehicle will shoot off, too little seems it's too slow..

Why they put cloth on sides of the seats? Makes it look a bit cheap.

The option had the base Harmon and Kardon sound system, this has the B&W. I wonder if they had a shortage because I got the B&W system upgrade for free with mine. Is the air suspension standard?

Pretty sure the B6 is still supercharged as well as turbocharged. Strangely, even though it has 13 additional horses from the 48V ISG, the engine’s gas horsepower is down from 315 in the T6 to 295 in the B6. Even considering the additional 13 horses, at 308 hp the B6 is a little less powerful that the T6.

Yep; my understanding is it went from belt driven supercharger to electric supercharger. But honestly, I know next to nothing about superchargers, I simply read that.

Well max power output happens at a certain high rpm at full throttle. The ISG and the e-charger actually affect boost and torque at the low rpm’s when the driver needs it. That’s boost where it matters, rather than a number rarely achieved. That’s why it feels more responsive and powerful regardless of the lower figures. P.S. I’ve driven both drivetrains

Depending on the model they are made in Sweden, China, Belgium and North Carolina. Some of the all new EV Volvos will be built in the current NC plant along side the S60/XC60.

No my 2018 xc60 awd isn’t that quiet and the tyres are a lot of the problem

As an XC 60 owner/driver I can tell you this video way over hypes the car. Not worth 60k + and had engine issues in the first 12k with mine. Saying that it is a pretty a fast fun car when going 45 mph on a winding road is pretty comical. Do your homework before getting one ! I cannot recommend it at all.

Beware of Volvo. Had a 2015 XC60 T6. Recurring engine problems w only 60K miles. Volvo Service said minimum valve job or possible engine replacement due to a known prob with this engine (that they did not disclose until I pressed them about it). Volvo USA would not commit to doing the work for free. Sold the car and bought a Tesla Model 3. Love it.

27 mpg highway and 21 mpg city for a non-plugin mild-hybrid car?! seriously?! My 2001 XC70 wagon gets 28 mpg highway and 20 mpg city with its 5-cylinder engine... what a total waste of money... Volvo should stop making cars without plugs immediately...
