Impressive speed, stability, low noise levels for a 2 litre/200 hp diesel!

I‘ll have the 150hp version. Runs nearly 240!! The mk8 is the best Golf in my opinion. Nice Car

I am driving the 2013 golf 7 gtd of my dad with 300k km. It is still going so smooth. Enjoy the car.

Quick enough for today's driving and impressive on fuel. I've had my mk 8 GTD for 6 months which replaced my Mk7 GTD. Overall if you can forgive the interior it is an improvement over the Mk7.

You should test out the Alltrack cause it has the same powertrain as this GTD.

Der Golf 8 gtd hat halt eine extreme Tacho Voreilung 250 sind echte ca 235 gps. Erreicht habe ich damals 253 waren 238 gps ein Kollege hat es auf gps 240 geschafft aber er hat ewig gebraucht die gesamte gerade vom Testgelände!

So that was the one who overtook the f pace 🤔 😳 😀

Fand innenraum künstliche motor sound nicht schlecht. Sonst soundanlage hat mir nicht gefallen, zu wenig bass.

set stability/traction control to sports mode, to enable launch control. You can see him launch the car seconds later (the popup on the dash).

I don't think that VW has more odometer deviations than other vehicle manufacturers in the EU, it is also regulated by law.

Gibt viele Gps vergleiche von Vag im Netz... musst nur schauen... 253 Tacho ist oft 243 oder 244... bei Bmw z.b. sind 255 Reale 250 Gps abgeregelt... also nur halb soviel abweichung als bei Vag... hab selber schon vergleiche gehabt aus der Vergangenheit... hatte einen 320d mit 136 Ps und bin auf der Autobahn hinter einem Freund gefahren der einen Audi A4 1.9tdi 130ps hatte... ich hatte etwa 210 auf Tacho und er fast 230 bei gleicher Geschwindigkeit hintereinander... 🙈🙉

es gibt sicher Hersteller die weniger Abweichung haben, aber die 10% sind halb zulässig

Its hard at most cars to get 2 different speed on display in kph and mph at same time. Otherwise calculate the kmh speed divided 1.61. For example 250 kmh : 1.61 = 155 mph :)

well, one litre of diesel contains about 10kWh of energy. he is using 147kW engine power most of the time. so in one hour, this would need 15 litres of fuel in a perfect world. however, efficiency of a modern turbocharged engine at full throttle is only around 40%. so this means around 36litres of diesel needed for one hour full throttle which equated to 15l per 100km instant fuel consumption going 245kph. seems normal.

An A200 Mercedes needs 18 sec 100 to 200 kph and has just 163 HP. So it is very slow for a car with 200 HP
