Another great to-the-point video. I never tire of seeing the Blueprint color. I have really been enjoying what are essentially training videos on how to operate a 2022 Limited TRD Off Road Tundra. Toyota should sponsor you to make a video user's manual. By the time my Tundra gets here I'll know a lot about how to operate it, how to use the locker, and all of the different drive select options. Thanks much!

Yep I'm hoping these videos will be a big help to a lot of users that don't want to read a user manual!

Thank you for being so succinct and clear & not waffling a whole bunch of nonsense / Like so many other channels do. Six minutes all the information I needed, really helpful thank you.

First off. Excellent demonstration. Real shame some of these features were not more readily available on previous Tundra models like they have been in T4R. Got all the goodies now and only available as V6 turbo. Give us the goodies with the V8 option and you've got my attention.

I made mine stall in 4H. Drove in rain to work. Pulled into parking lot. Turned slowly but sharply into parking spot and it stalled out. What did I do wrong? Did it again later to see if it repeated. It did.

So the tundra has multi-trend select options for 4hi.. the Tacoma is limited to four low?

What is the maximum speed you can drive in 4wd hi? My wife's 2016 4runner says 80 km per hr

Again, thanks for the great info. I have a 1794 on order and I have questions related to the infotainment system if you can share your thoughts: Do you have to download the App in order to fully use the infotainment system? I know that it is apparently free for 90 days and then the subscription kicks in. I just don't want to pay a subscription fee. I don't need Toyota care or reminders for maintenance, etc. However, I do want the full function of the infotainment system... so again, is the app required or can you just pare your phone and use the infotainment system? Thanks again.

The infotainment system will work fine without the app... possibly even better as the app has its issues. I'll probably be making a video outlining that at some point with more specifics so stay tuned.

I’m assuming you have to be stopped when shifting into 4 high, many people will assume you can engage when your moving

  • @DrivenCompanion

No you can be moving up to about 60 mph and shift from 2wd to 4high. You do need to be stopped to shift between 4hi and 4lo

You may need to have it lubed up again at the dealer. This can happen if you go long periods without using 4lo
