Prior to this generation, there was no such thing as a bad Corolla.

The reported CVT issues with cruise control making the engine rev up while going down hill is no real problem at all, and is actually a result of the cars efforts to maintain a certain speed while going down hill by using engine braking. Without the curise control engaged the car will simply coast down hill.

Why name your video 2022 problems? When you clearly mentioning past issues? Where they fix are they still a issue, did Toyota correct the problem in the older models?

Now Corolla is in its 12th generation - since the 2019 Model Year. And generally, the same generation models have the same problems. If the car had many engine problems back in 2019, there is a high risk that this problem will appear in newer models... Of course, the newer car is better because the manufacturer makes minor changes and improves some issues, but there is still a high risk that the problem appears.

what if that used 2022 corolla was one of the problem cars?

Looks cheap made.
