I have a 2022 MDX and last night I got the brake light warning. I parked at a restaurant, and noticed it getting back to the vehicle to leave. I was not able to release the electronic parking brake for like an hour, I tried everything with no luck. After an hour, it got back to normal. I was able to cancel the road assistance request and drove back home, no issues at all after that. I am taking it to service today, I will follow up here with any updates.

I bought used 2013 forester at 140000 km I had to fix engine oil leak issue for $1500 with Subaru now its still running at 240000km with no major issues

2001 Toyota Celica GT, I have about 2 inches of oil inside the spark plug chambers, I replaced the valve cover gasket including the tube seals, and my question is how do I get rid of the existing oil inside and then would it help if I used black high heat oil resistant gasket maker around the top of the combustion chambers?

Get paper towels and brake cleaner Spray the cleaner in the chamber after disconnecting the coil pack wires and put paper towels in to soak up but make sure you keep spark plugs in until soaked up and make sure you can remove the paper towels from the chamber

I'm no fanboy - this is a garbage "review". It seems to have taken a pile of random problems troilled from the internet and compiled a video around them. No indication if a fault is common, or if its a fluke. ALL cars have problems - some far more than others. Identify COMMON issues if you intend to actually help prospective buyers make informed decisions. This video does NOT do that.

First Subaru bought off the showroom floor. Asked the dealer if it was supposed to sound so loud. Salesman said its normal. 400 miles it needed oil. Topped it off. At 700 miles i had a low oil warning light. In service several times. As i lemon lawed it. They meanwhile exchanged the short block as they had 'loose rings' to help with increased mileage. The 18 i exchanged for it had no issues. The 22 Onyx has had no engine issues either. But there were a few others that kept it in the service shop like a ping pong ball for a while. Its at 38k now.

My camry 2012 starts rattling noise when Coolant Temperature sensor is on. And when i switched it off the car runs in a perfect condition like a brand new car..can expert suggests what could be the fault.

I had the same message for over a year on my 2019 sierra Denali. 2 weeks ago other messages appeared ie service handbrake, service CES, reduced power assist….took it to dealer yesterday, they replaced the drivers side airbag control module….they had to remove console to get at it…..$1500 cdn bill

I have a Lexus 2011 RX350. Trying to find a good ground in the trunk and all points even the body frame gives 3.1ohms. 😕 Is this normal? It's practically a new car with 60K miles and I am the original owner. I'm looking for a good ground for a small 150W Amp to run one 12" sub.

My 2001 2500hd silverado with a 6.0 lq4 trans was rebuilt to stage 2 like 3 years ago and a stock converter with a billet piston and it just started shaking almost a year ago starts shaking at around 55mph and stops right when i let off the gas then just get on the gas again it shakes again and im pretty positive its the converter

I took out a shim - left no gap and started the car w/o turning on the A/C (forgot) at the dash. (yep - my bad) I believe I've got a bad clutch coil (A/C works (worked?) in cooler temps but will shut down when outside temp is in the 90s (Not Fun) I intended to run over to the hardware store and get some thinner shims - but never made that trip because within seconds I noticed a spray of coolant over the engine. OMG - boy, when things go bad and you do stupid things. How bad is my situation now ?

I had the rear diff go on my 2016 @ 37,000 miles new diff £6359 or re furb £2987 I now have other various problems … that will cost around £2800 to make right …. Time to trade it In .

Of you only put in 15 litres of petrol in a Diesel , fill up to the Top with Diesel run it 100 miles , then top up again with Deisel add 1 litre of ATF. Happened to my Mercedes.

I put 5 gallons of petrol in my diesel Renault Master, fuel gauge was showing red, so was quite empty. I didn't realise and drove about 4 miles before it started to run bad and knock. I realised what i had done, as soon as it started to run bad, but couldn't pull over for about another mile. Got towed home, pumped the tank out, put two gallons of diesel in, pumped that out, drained high pressure pump, filled tank with diesel, primed, drained pump again, primed again and started it. By some miracle, it was fine and runs as good as ever. I won't do that again, but it proves it may not always be terminal.

I have a 2016 Forester XT With 23k, Never had any issues, The OEM battery lasted 5 years, then to Costco. Was at The Subaru dealership and all the 2024/25 Foresters are crap, no chrome on the front grill etc. All plastic trim like garbage GM cars Buy a low mile older Subaru as these new ones suck, go and see for yourself.

I paid 35k for it and to think I would sell it for less then half and pretty much in mint condition, I ignore these idiot emails. But from what I can read from these emails you can find a XT for around $14 to 15k, $20k is price gouging walk away, don't rush it

The frame on my 2011 Terrain rusted where the rear trailing arm is connected. Mechanics say it’s a common problem in rust belt states. Many decline to repair the frame.

Mine does the same thing when i slow to almost a complete stop. Died on me a couple of hours ago. Took 15 mins of cranking to start it. Mechanic coded it. Said it was MAS.

Does the car run like new becouse if the cat is clogged the problem won't work since the air coming from throttle can't go through muffler and engine will get stuck and turn offf

I had the problem of low oil pressure in my 05 Xterra, when I was idling the needle went lower than L and the oil light came on and when I accelerated the needle went up to the middle. The first fix was to change the oil sensor, the oil pump and the relief valve, even so the problem continued. The second fix was to change the oil gallery timing gasket and after that the needle only goes down a little before the letter L but the oil light no longer comes on.
