Congrats on your new X LR, and good luck on fixing the issues, hopefully you don’t have to wait long. We ordered our X LR September 2021 for delivery date March 2022, got moved to May then July and now October 2022 🤬. The only positive thing out of this is we’re saving good amount of money 💵 since the price already went up couple of times to about $114k. My wife is also picking up her M3 next month 🤞🏽if all goes well. It’s been a roller coaster ride for lots of people and unfortunately it’s the time we live in. Thx again for your video

I took it in for service and they fixed it but yesterday it did that again once it can also be sometimes from the angle where it’s parked. Once you get your X you will forget about all the roller coasters plus it will be most likely more features then mine

I am waiting for the same X and appreciate the tips on what to look for. Delivery day is super emotional and exciting, so It takes a lot of discipline to keep those feelings in check so you can evaluate the vehicle somewhat objectively. Might help to bring a friend to play devil's advocate.

I have had a 3, Y and now have an X. Like you, I love the car. But every one of my Teslas has had some issue on delivery, and the 3 and Y had more serious issues that developed later. I was very frustrated. But Tesla fixed everything, gave me a loaner and didn't charge anything. What I have discovered is that once the delivery and other bugs are fixed, the cars are very reliable. I had to drive my new 2023 X home over 60 miles with no connectivity and a black screen. But as they promised it was working by the next day. I love Tesla and don't want anything else. But I wish their quality control was better.

I take delivery of my MS LR tomorrow and it’s been a roller coaster of a journey and incredibly draining and annoying. So happy it’s finally coming to an end! Congrats on your Model X! Seems like you went through a bunch as well but I’m happy to know it was worth the headaches!

Hi Alaya. How you liking the S? I picked up my Model S LR in the beginning of March. Was a little disappointed because they upgraded the lights and charging port 3 days after I got mine. I'm picking up a Mode X in about 2 weeks. I hope it has all of the updated features. I know they're coming out with powered screens inside. If they're not going to add it to current cars, then they should at least offer a path to upgrade.

@@BobbyJr Im obsessed with it! I honestly love it so much. A few build quality issues but honestly nothing that makes me dislike the car. They make so many changes randomly. They have the tilt screen in cars now which is crazy to me considering I just took delivery Sunday and don’t have the tilt screen yet some cars delivered before mine have the tilt screen.

@@alayamonique8454 that's piss poor! We drop too much cash to have the latest and greatest only to be outdated days later! So they got you the way they got me. But at least you got the matrix headlights and large charge port door. They should do like other car makers and roll changes up to next model year... Give the next year folks something to look fwd to. Please consider getting PPF if you haven't already.

@@BobbyJr that’s exactly what I was thinking. It’s crazy making 4-5 changes in just 1 year of updating a car. However I love the car so far so I’m happy with what I get. Next upgrade won’t be for a few years 😂😂 Getting a ppf is next on my list! Just wanna find a good place

I feel your PAIN. Got my X and got all kinds of problems. Been only a week.

I am waiting for the same X and appreciate the tips on what to look for.

I placed an order for my x plaid a year a go and it is still uncertain when it will be in production yet here in UK. So you are the lucky one!

Man my wife and I just ordered a long range Model X and it’s going to be a year for us as well. Our delivery date is between January and April. This wait is excruciating lol 😂

@@PipenFalzy HAHA That's what I am going through. Tesla is horrendous. They don't really fix your car and your car comes out dirtier than you had left it with them. Telsa got some serious issues. Right now, I regret getting a model X. It's only been 1 month of ownership.

I don’t know if you found out already, but the screw things at the back of the trunk off a tail light replacement

Did your MX come with a powered screen? I got my VIN for my MX LR, but haven't been sent an invite to schedule pickup. As for your Falcon wing doors, have you tried recalibrating them?

No it does not have it. I tried recalibrating but it did not work it was adjusted yesterday during tesla service appointment

@@POGAuto they say the new vehicles have hardware to support powered screen, but lacks motor... I'm hoping they offer upgrade option. I pick up my X in a couple of weeks. It'll likely be the same as yours. I picked up my Model S LR beginning of March, days later they updated headlights and charging port. Love Tesla, but their policy to make any update at any time sucks. If I pay $100k+ then I want to feel like I got the latest and greatest at least until the next model year... Shouldn't feel dated on the way home from the delivery center

Why did you take delivery with the issues it had?

Hey, I've had the exact same issue as yours and it persisted even after a long waited service. Ended up returning the car it was due to the car upper panel not aligning with the falcon wing door angled when it closes. I don't know how this happens. There are so many QC issues with the $100K plus car which I've never had issues with BMW or LEXUS that I've owned before. I think more and more people shouldn't accept their cars if these type of major defects are discovered. This doesn't happen in cheap $30K Honda cars.

Agreed on not accepting delivery, however these QC issues in fact happen on BMWs and cheap Hondas. The air conditioning in my 2016 BMW 328i never worked properly and eventually not at all, despite several services. Then they discontinued its 3G connectivity and would not upgrade it at all. My 2017 Honda CRV runs flawlessly but the rear hatch lets water in during heavy rains.

It's totally unacceptable for a $100k car. Tesla really needs to shape up, or ship out on the QC. They've been at this long enough to know how to make quality cars.

Is there where you can do a video of testing out on the sound system play some uncopy right music is fine.

I’ve seen other Model X videos with rear door issues including it chipping paint when it closes. Tesla should be able to fix your door, they probably do it all the time.

@@POGAuto have you tried rebooting it? Curious if that will work. It won’t fix the issue with the gaskets but at least you won’t have to press the button twice. Enjoy the car, I’ll be getting mine in Oct. ordered in Feb

Hi is this the 7 seater? It’s the first video I’ve seen of the 7 seat X LR. I have the exact same ordered with delivery right now in July. Would be great to see more of the middle row and how you like it. Also does yours have the motorized swiveling screen that just came out? Thanks and congrats!

the gaps are in spec and thats how the cars are supposed to be that's what I was told and the circle thing is also normal since even a pre refresh model x loaner was like that

@@POGAuto hmm it is pretty bad imo - i seen other model x and they dont have as bad of a gap or that round thing issue you have - they just trying to be lazy imo - get them to fix it. It is. 150k car - even my 2004 civic has better fitment.

Yes unfortunately but I love the vehicle

All these issues are completely unacceptable on this price point. You WOULD never see this with another manufacturer with this price tag. People get caught up on the HYPE and tech on these things that they somehow keep supporting the brand. These are the times we live in I guess.

Shame to see you fully away from Mercedes now, hopefully back to them in the future!

$140k SUV with that kind of build quality? dont get me wrong, Tesla's tech are really good but its really not worth the price. Your Falcon Wing issue is a major problem. Buying an expensive SUV like that shouldn't have any quality build issues like that. I would rather buy the top of the line Mercedes SUV's if I have money. Their tech is almost the same with Tesla's now and I'm not talking about their EV's, I'm talking about their Gas Vehicles.

Autolane assist, change lane assist, parking assist, maps, browse to internet, auto start, and a lot more. They all have those features now with a solid premium build quality that really feels $100k

We own two 2020 GLC with all those features and have experienced other brands as well. Nothing gets close to the simplicity of a Tesla vehicle

Because warranty, and they have taken care of all our concerns after delivery example our Model 3 and Y. I also could have never said no to delivery after waiting almost a year and 3 scheduled appointments. Tesla warranty has been great so far so I do not think it will be any issue for them to fix it under warranty.

If you look at all the other similarly priced or even much less costing luxury EV vehicles the quality is high class but what is this? So cheap looking and horrible quality control.
