I have 2017 version and I’m waiting between dec 2022 and feb 2023 the plaid version…. Your 2022 model x appears to be the refreshing version, with flipping display, so nice! I’ve ordered red like your!

Good point about the acceleration. During the Plaid launch event they showed a chart, according to which the motor power reaches 1000 hp at about 55-60 mph.

Is the newer Model X more efficient or about the same when it comes to range?

Nice video it highlights the continuous innovation and iterations that Tesla has

Quality and assembly of 2019 is light years better than the 2022. We also have both. And the passenger falcon exterior handle actually lines up evenly. The 2019 is also more comfortable. Absolutely unarguable IF you have owned both. Same goes for Model S. The seats are miserable in the 2022 Model X. The body of the 2022 has less flex and the center console is better. Not to mention the technology.

That's odd. I think the 22' is better in every regard. Comfort, feel, cabin noise, and craftsmanship. The earlier gen felt like a hollow EV with very generic comfort. Seats were nowhere near as cushioned/soft.

Between the two model X’s what I hate with the old one is the screen it looks wired so I would choose the 2022 I would really like a plaid someday my mom and dad have a model Y and model X sadly it’s not a plaid but it’s fun

What about noise, vibration, harshness? Tesla claims a quieter interior with the 2022, especially with active noise cancellation turned on.

Yes. There were a few problems with the first two. For example, the battery died once in 2016. They gave me a loner car (which was not a Tesla) for a few days. They put a temporary battery in my car. A couple of months later, they put the original battery back in. Additionally, doors would touch each other when I opened the falcon door and the front door together. That was causing the paint to chip. I took it to Tesla 3 times but was never fixed. I used to hear a grinding sound during hard acceleration in the 2019 model. I contacted Tesla twice regarding that. They kept saying it was normal and changed the design in the newer model to avoid this grinding. 2022 Model has no problem so far.

I'm Desi. I just moved Seattle. I have 4 Tesla Model X. All the kids get to drives them.

Should of just referred to them as Ludacris and plaid would have been so much easier to talk about.

depends... if money is not a problem then yes. Otherwise, if is similar speed, the similar infotainment, etc. the big change you feel you are paying money for is those falcon winds and the yoke. I own a MYP and tested a MX just recently... not worth changing for me. specially at double its price point.

I own the 2022 Model X long range, I had the 2018 model X Not plaid all I have to say is that completely night and day even with both not PLAID all I have to say is the model X 2022 with the updated interior has so much improvement it is night and day the only thing I wish they would’ve done is the body... also for most people you do not need the plaid the model X long range is plenty of power trust me I’ve driven plenty of fast cars no one needs anything faster than the long range trust me with that
