I use the Motorola MA1 for wireless Android Auto and it works PERFECTLY in my 2023 Forester Wilderness with my Pixel 6 Pro. Not one hiccup yet in a month of usage. NO difference than in being wired.

I just got a 2023 with the HK, it sounds pretty good and I'm glad they have physical controls. The only thing I've had that "might" be better was a GTI I had with the Fender setup. they're close though.

I really enjoyed the HK in my 20 Forester Sport.

570 watts with amp and 9 speakers sounds like a portable radio with no volume! If I had tried it out I would have opted for the Rockford Fosgate stereo.

yes the speakers are horrible. i had the volume turned up as much as it can go and like no sound. no bass. basic speakers. bose a million times better

Have you had a chance to try out the HK systems in the 24/25 Foresters? Curious how those shake out.

Can I ask why would u need an auxiliary cord port in a 2023 car? The 2023 forester wilderness also has no C-USBS. And still has an AUX port. What would u use the aux port for these days?!

High fidelity audio. If you have a device with a headphone jack, it's still one of the easiest way to get HQ audio into your car.

Got a 2019 Forester Touring with the HK system and it's awful. I'm in the process of replacing all the speakers currently but struggling to find a drop-in replacement for the sub.

the newer models aren’t better. these speakers suck. my 2011 chevy w bose sounded glorious. am i doing something wrong with the settings? the music off my iphone sound better than these

Do you think we can make this sound system better with aftermarket parts?

If you want to use After Market parts you will need to recalibrate the whole system, otherwise you will COMPLETELY mess up the balance and the precalibration

What settings would you recommend for the best sound? Or just leave flat?

i have this car. touring model. most horrible speakers ever. sounded like there were about to go out with the bass. my Bose speakers on my 2011 chevy impala were 1000000 times better. i think these speakers are good for older people who like to listen to their calm classic rock maybe

about $1500. mind as well get better speakers. bose are so much better. i switched to these HK are horrible

My question is why does my 2011 legacy 3.6r limited HK sound significantly better than my wifes 2017 outba k 2.5i limited HK system. I swear the outback sounds like garbage compared to my legacy.

Agree. - had a 2004 MINI Cooper with HK that was top shelf. Must be cost cutting.

@@gregkogut6749 our outbacks system is straight garbage. Definitely a D tier "premium" sound system. Went for a ride with my brother and his girl in her mazda 3 with the bose sound system and my mind was blown. Made me wanna get a civic hatch with the bose(i heard it was good too) and sell both my cars and get a cx-90 touring plus to replace the outback.

What's the best mpgs this vehicle can get?

@SyrupCanuck the best I have seen on the highway is 28mpg. Honestly, if fuel economy is an issue, just get a sport those get 26 city to 33 mpg highway

😂 You can’t hear what a sound system sounds like from a KZread video. You’re hearing the sound system being recorded by whatever microphone you’re using and then who knows what the listener is listening on, but I do know it’s not the speakers being demoed. The only useful information you can give is tech specs and just your opinion of the sound quality. “Sound samples” are useless.
