    I have the older version and love it. Mine is 15 years old and have had zero issues! (Way too much soap man.)

    They've kept the same basic design for like 2 decades at this point. That gives me hope for mine. And also I've been using a full cap for years lol

    HE low suds detergent will help. The high foam slows the draining. That may be all you need to fix the issue. Beautiful washer by the way.

    Sorry, I missed a previous comment. Some have mentioned that a little vinegar has been helpful as well.

    How high off the ground is your drain pipe. I have read that some people experience foaming coming out of the drain because its not high enough.

    With the the TC5 SpeedQueen, I have found it will oversud no matter what detergent you use, even if you only use a thimble full. HE, liquid, powder, detergent sheet, it doesn't matter. Users are left with two options to deal with the oversudsing issue. 1. I had my drain pipe going vertical about 18 inches, then moving sideways and draining into the deep sink. 2. Using at least a teaspoon of liquid fabric softener, and a cup of water.

    I haven't had mine doing it too much, just the drain pipe issues which seems common.

    Do you also use a bleach that is color safe?

  • @isaac24

    Nope. I use bleach maybe once a year. when I do it's what you see in the video. I'm cheap. I don't spend money on other laundry products besides detergent and fabric softener. Yes I buy Tide- I'm willing to splurge on that because it works amazingly and smells excellent.

    @@isaac24 ok because I have a front load Samsung it's ok but Ive been researching and speed queen and huebsch commercial washing machines are excellent 👍 but I was also thinking about a regular top load washing machine but was about to go for the TR7 but everyone says TC5 is way better

    Heavy duty is same as eco, just longer. Bleach bad choice. Better to use oxiclean. Deep fill wasn't needed with this size load. I would have picked plain ECO. ECO is full intensity but short (27 mins without options).

    Heavy duty and normal aren't totally the same. Heavy duty gives you a full rinse and spin, normal gives you a spray rinse in place of the full rinse and spin. I've used the OxiClean powder and found it made no difference.

    @@isaac24 But when you select extra rinse, the ECO gets a full rinse too, not? From what I gather, ECO knocks the water level down a little but. Might ECO+ExtraRinse = HeavyDuty+ExtraRinse - little bit water ?

  • @isaac24

    @isaac24

    No. Eco does not give you a full rinse. I BELIEVE (but am not certain) that eco with the deep water gives you the same amount as heavy duty with the deep water. Eco plus extra rinse is essentially the same as heavy duty with no options. Heavy duty with an extra rinse is 2 full rinses.

    @@isaac24I'd like to hash it out fully... Ok so, correct me if I'm wrong, and I'm adding what I heard someone else claim also: - ECO = regular water level minus a tiny bit, spray rinse - ECO+DeepFill = full water minus a little bit, spray rinse - ECO+ExtraRinse = spray rinse, full rinse - HeavyDuty = full rinse - HeavyDuty+ExtraRinse = full rinse, full rinse Note the ECO giving a little bit less water. I have not verified this, but I saw someone else claim this. Also, I believe that Heavy Duty either makes agitation less, or spin is at reduced rate, not sure which. Is it possible that the only full agitation and full speed spin is only obtained with the ECO setting?

  • @isaac24

    @isaac24

    Eco doesn't alter the water level, at least to my knowledge. I've never watched to see if it does. Heavy duty doesn't alter the agitation either, it's the exact same as normal. Heavy duty is also the only cycle that gives you a full "normal" wash and rinse.
