@@DamoDrives i really did enjoy it. I'm currently looking for my first car after passing my test in May and the Ibiza is now at the top of my list. its got everything I want tech wise and also is a great size for someone who learned to drive in its slightly posher sibling (the A1)

Slightly more expensive version 😂, it really is a good car , while it does not have the get up and go of the old Cupra version (sadly there is no plans for this) does everything well at a good price (if you are anywhere near brighton call them lol) good luck on what ever you choose

@@DamoDrives 😂😂 that’s true that’s why I’m not going for the A1 bit out of my budget…. My nearest Seat is Hatfield so I’ll certainly be going to Hatfield soon to have a look 😃

First time seeing your channel. Very refreshing seeing a ‘normal person’( with the greatest of respect 👍🏻), doing real world review. Thanks for reviewing this spec, very honest review. I'm with you on the faux exhausts like the ones on the FR Sport, not a fan. You may well have convinced me to get one as my next car, always liked them, and a lot more modern than my current MK7 Fiesta Titanium.

I am so pleased you found it useful and really is a good little car. More and more companies are putting silly fake exhausts on, maybe from a design perspective it looks good from a distance but with EVs no fake or real exhausts are required

have you received it yet? I'm curious what mpg you get in town?

I ordered one of these in July and it’s now expected to arrive in February :/ great review, wish mine was coming sooner. Really enjoyed my test drive

@@DamoDrives I have gone for the fr with added rear parking censors and the beats speakers in the Nevada white :) yes this chip shortage is a real killer

Ordered a Lux and due to get it in March. Thanks for reviewing it. When you done the drive to see if you were getting the MPG were you driving in eco mode?

Was driving in normal mode most of the time

Disagree about the exhausts, think it looks cheap with the black plastic diffuser alone at the back.

Interested in this as a first car any extra advice?

It would make a very very good 1st car, just check on insurance and possibly take our the extended service warranty. Other than that get 1 😂

From what I remember I don’t think it does , the Arona does though which is based on this car 😳. Hope you enjoyed the video

@@DamoDrives thanks, I've ordered this exact car but in red, I've watched a review of the pre facelift that mentioned it's difficult to put the kids in the back in the dark as you can't see the seatbelt buckles! Great video indeed, thanks again!

You will find with many cars the MY 2022 models will be available in 2021 (generally manufacturers are 1 year ahead with the model years rather than the reg of the car)

I have bought a 2021 plate Ibiza FR in desire red and it is indeed the face lifted 2022 model. The interior has been massively upgraded
