2022 Rocky Raccoon 50 Mile Ultra Marathon - Huntsville, TX
In May 2021, I decided I wanted to run the Rim 2 Rim 2 Rim at the Grand Canyon.
In order to do that I would need a ton of training. I had never run more than a half marathon before. So I decided to use Tejas Trails running events as a way to keep up with my training and push my limits at a number of different trails in Texas.
I trained throughout the entire year up until February 12th 2022. This video is about my first attempt at a 50-mile ultra-marathon at the Rock Raccoon 50 mile ultra in Huntsville, TX.
My running shirt, "Sober AF" is from the Valor Fitness company - valorfitnessclothing.com/ - For every item they sell, they donate one to a shelter.

Outstanding job. You should be very proud of yourself. I am curious to know which knee compression sleeves you wore during this race.

I used a GoPro hero 8 on the trail. I’m really enjoying it.

@@minduncaged8101 I have a hero 7 that I use. It’s no where near that good. Must have some improvements! Our running channel is “Motivated By Medals” if you’re interested.
