2022 Ram 1500 Limited Review: Luxury with a Truck Bed

Every time we get a Ram truck to review, it is configured completely different to show its mass appeal to many owner’s needs. The 2022 Ram 1500 Limited we received was configured to show luxury with a bed. The Patriot Blue color shined when the sun hit the pearl coat and showed almost black at night. I’m usually not a big fan of chrome but with this Ram, it was definitely the way to go.
The adaptive LED headlights helped light the road in front as well as to the side you were turning to. The surround-view camera system helps make sure you’re not going to curb any of the 20” wheels. Before you get in the Ram 1500, the key fob allows you to lower the 4-corner air suspension to allow for easy entrance. To add to the ease of entry, a deployable step comes down to make the step in even easier.
Once you’re inside, the Limited trim comes to life. The indigo leather and sea salt colored cloth interior make this Ram a special build. Even though cloth isn’t usually synonymous with luxury, the quality and finish make it spectacular. It’s also a bold color combination that Ram was successful in pulling off. Adding to the experience, Ram has decided to offer a jeweled rotary shifter.
If excess defines luxury, the 12” UConnect 5 infotainment system helps that argument. For the model year 2022, the Ram truck system comes with the UConnect system which allows for wireless Apple Carplay. No cables will help keep the center console area cleaner to help store your other items.
We are glad to see that trucks have entered the luxury automotive segment. Just because it can haul building supplies doesn’t mean it has to lack creature comforts. With all the different Ram options, now we just need to decide which one would work best for our needs.

Great review and a 100% accurate. Just bought one brand new on June 30th 2023 ! Our 3rd ram and yes this is expensive but nothing comes close to the ride or interior .

@@marksorensen9824 Although it had the best ride of any truck i've driven, air suspension is guaranteed to be a headache in the future no matter what brand. The normal suspension is still up there though in ride quality so you'll love it.

@Revmatchmedia Our purchasing of any of the Rams has never been planned. Had our Ram Bighorn Northern Edition in for service. It only had 11433 miles or 18400 kms. While waiting for the shuttle service to take us to the hotel. My wife seen the 10th anniversary in the showroom. Our sales person was there and i told him to write up a deal for us as our truck was outside. He said seriously and i said look at her . She isn't going to leave without that truck. It looked awesome in the showroom. Blue with the indigo and sea salt interior. He said ill have it outside in the morning for a test drive. It was close to closing time for the service department . She test drove it the next morning after 5 minutes asked me how long it would take to have it ready. I told her its already except for the paperwork. They had us on the road the next day by 10 am. Even without the air suspension it is by far the best riding Ram we have owned. I worked in dealerships for 20 years in my younger years. Bmw , Mercedes, Porsche, Subaru and Mazda. Fit and finish of the luxury interior is spotless in our truck. I am a Hardon Karman fan so the sound system is perfect. It is a 5.7 with etorque and we don't mind it. Our first experience with etorque. We have zero complaints with the newest Ram we bought. I use to detail cars and the light interior is a little bit of a concern. Just more work is all !

@@marksorensen9824 Love to hear that! My wife also does car reviews and her perspective is extremely important because like she says, women have a lot of buying power! I'm also a huge Harmon Kardon fan and my previous VW I swapped all of the speakers out for them and my miata also has JBL too. Glad to hear you guys are enjoying it!

I agree! The 4 corner air in the Ram is untouchable when it comes to comfortable ride. I always make this the standard that other trucks need to get to. What trim did you go with?
I had the 10th anniversary model and I couldn’t get to liking the cloth on the seats and doors so after three weeks I traded it for the dark red metallic with black interior and mine has the moonroof but the cloth was a dealbreaker for me…

I only had it for a week but I can definitely see how more long term usage can make things not as easy to maintain as a non-cloth material. That red is a really nice color too! Thanks for watching!

I got to get out of here I'm getting ready to clock out that is my dream truck that 2022 10th year anniversary and I hope that I could get it in a long bed because I like to be able to lay down in the bed when I'm camping put my sleeping bag and back and everything so I hope that truck comes in a long bed not a short box but that is my dream vehicle
