Mopar products can be a little finicky with maintenance over years of ownership but they just have soul. I love my MOPAR products. MOPAR OR NO CAR! :D The new generation with the coil springs and 5 link suspension in the back is just fantastic to drive. I had a loaded Laramie as a rental and had to put up SERIOUS self control to not buy one and drive it back home. I just loved driving it.

Congrats on the new car, can't wait to watch the next built of this one

Awesome video mate, have the limited 1500 2021 in white my self, my wife loves it too and I think she’s almost convinced to have one her self. One question though, does your model have a slight intermittent vibration at 100kms and if so have you found the cause etc. I’ve been told it’s due to the torque converter and eco mode with the transmission all adding to it.

I’m from the US I have a 2021 ram longhorn. One step below the Laramie It’s the third ram I have had going back to 2007 These trucks are absolutely amazing and just keep getting better. For those of you wondering about the Ford Chevy and ram differences They are all good Ford and ram can fit 35 inch tires either by removing the wheel liners or doing a leveling kit The Chevy needs around 4-6 inch of lift to fit 35s Ram 1500 is running a 4 link which is actually a 5 link with coil springs and the ride quality in my opinion compared to Chevy and Ford is hands down the best. They are great truck. Super comfortable. Extremely reliable and I’m stoked to see Australia getting to enjoy them as we do here in the states.

It is a shame that they only have the Ram 1500 Laramie and Limited available in Australia because the real sweet truck is the Ram Rebel 1500 but then again I hear that the TRX is going to be introduced. I am from Texas and a proud owner of a 2019 Ram Laramie Longhorn 1500 I absolutely love it. Sweet Truck you guys gained a subscriber

Hey just a question , what did the white ram hit going up the dirt hill? It seemed to send shockwaves through the whole car! Did it hit on the cross member ? And ALSO , what’s the issue with having to park ( nose in ) on an angle ?

What I am unsure of, is the 360 degree camera you have shown on the DT laramie. I have asked the two RAM dealers directly and they both have said there isn't a 360 camera option for the laramie.

Not available from what I understand. AUS/NZ only offer the Ram 1500 Limited, Laramie, TRX, plus the 3/4 ton 2500 HD.

Is there any reason that you went with the micro (5.5 foot) bed? You would have more frame space starting with a 6.5' bed. An extra foot or two is nothing when it comes to parking.

I did the numbers on a Canadian retail price a few years back and accounting for everything roughly, it's not a massive premium. Considering a one-off lhd conversion 10 years ago was about 40k

The truck is very nice, looks good, comfy, quite light and economical for the size. But the size is the problem, not sure how you can compare it to an LC which is a full 1m shorter. You might squeeze into a parking spot and open the doors over 2 Miatas, but the "ass" will stick out for 1m, blocking the alley 😅

What’s happening with the fj49?

It’s not about brand, it’s cost to an average family, I’m not a tradie, I’m not a 4x4 nut, I used to own the 100 series L/cruiser, then the 200 came along at 100 grand, basically all these very real very family all rounder vehicles like Ram, are just so out of the price range for most. It’s any wonder GWM have increased their sales by 200% . Chalk and cheese I know, but seriously if Ram were around 80 grand, I think more families would buy them over the standard duel cabs. I wonder what the F150 will retail for?

It's a little harder with the ETORQUE system but am sure they got it figured out.
